The cleaning crew hit and miss

The localism excellent. We stayed here several times during our trip. The first room 401 was good and clean. The second one room 505 was not cleaned well, hair was left all over the bathtub and bathroom, so they changed to 608. The last stay was in room 709 which was old, the bathroom door was next to the bed, making it hard to not disturb the other sleeper. Hair was seen in the bathtub but we were too tired to change room.

We came during Christmas but the temperature was 19 degrees. The room was very warm with the heating in the Hotel. No way to turn on the AC (the staff said they couldn't turn it on) so we had to open the window which brought a lot of nose from the street waking us several times during the night with an ambulance or police siren. It was hard to have a continuous sleep. We chose the hotel for the acropolis view from the roof top. But this view is only available if you sit in the expensive restaurant: the view was overrated.

Nice staff, very good breakfast, reasonably located, very close to the acropolis. Our room had a partial view of the Partenón. The temperature issue was something else.

I would have liked more local seasonal fruit - such as figs for breakfast. I couldn't have tea in the breakfast area because it needs boiling water to brew properly not 'warm' water. Prunes and dried apricots would also have been nice too. The road was too noisy for me.

The location was good for visiting the monuments but for me it was too near a very busy, dirty and loud main road. my room was also under the restaurant and chairs scraping on the floor kept me from sleeping on several occasions. but the balcony early in the morning was nice. Bed was very comfortable but not the pillows.

would have been nice to have been a little closer to syntagmus square in hindsight. Also a better view from the room but I suppose that is luck of the draw!

Staff were great, rooms spacious ( got the premium double ) and the hotel itself was really modern and clean. The restaurant with acropolis view was great.

Nice selection of breakfast items. Exceptional cream pastry and crepes! Good variety of hot items like eggs, omelet, bacon, etc. Proximity to attractions and shopping was easily walked.

The room was spacious with balcony (although not much of a view. Staff was very very helpful even packed me a takeaway breakfast as I had a very early flight before buffet breakfast was serviced. The hotel is very close to Plaka which is very lively with bars and restaurants and also very closed to major attractions. It was a very comfortable stay.

1) Hotel is situated at the crossroads of busy streets so in a noisy (for a person from the north) area.

The location and friendly and attentive staff is what sets this hotel apart. The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed. Particularly enjoyed the buffet breakfast. We were even offered Greek coffee which was a real treat for us. We also enjoyed a cocktail at the rooftop bar with great views of the Acropolis

Our A/C in our room did not work so we had to sleep with the windows open. Very hot evening.

The location was really great! We were able to walk to the acropolis and even have dinner on the rooftop. All staff was friendly and eager to assist us!

More modern bedrooms would be nice with a proper shower rather than an over bath shower but that seems to be the norm in Greece.

Staff were great and very friendly, location was very handy for bars restaurants and transport. Roof terrace restaurant served great food and drink, always going the extra mile to keep us happy.

There was nothing to dislike.

All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Always a lovely atmosphere at breakfast and met some lovely fellow travellers during dinner in the scenic restaurant on the top floor - scenic because, once the sun goes down, there is a magnificent view of the Acropolis by night. The room was always clean and sheets and towels changed as needed. The location was excellent for metro, tram, Hop on/Hop off buses and the old town - we walked everywhere, but sampled all the transport too. So all good and no complaints at all.

Not happy with breakfast. Had to keep asking for coffee and fresh orange not a success I’m afraid total shambles more juice on tray and a lot of pulp in the glass also jugs not marked as to the contents . Also glass screen in bathroom may need a bit of an adjustment as you have to get in bath to turn water on. Emptying bath for a child can’t be reached unless you get in bath yourself .

With 1 C outside temperature on the days of my stay, the room was cold and the hot water (via I assume solar panels) did not last for long.

The location was my main motivation for booking this hotel. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, room service was awesome.. The hotel has an amazing rooftop restaurant overlooking acropolis. Plaka is ot a few blocks away and nice restaurants around the corner.
