Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom has a glass door so you couldn't see in but the noise echoed around the bedroom. You could also hear noise from next doors bathroom
Fantastic location with really helpful staff, great breakfast. Hotel looks like it has been renovated recently so nicely decorated room

AC did not work very well. Bathroom door was noisy. One of the beds was not comfortable.
Location was great. Breakfast was good. Most of the beds were comfortable. Shower worked well.

Great location on the quiet side street of central Athens. Very clean room, friendly staff and excellent service (luggage storage on the first day and lunch box on the last day upon check out as we had to leave quite early to the airport.

We stayed for 3 nights pre cruise. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to Acropolis Hill and the Parthenon. The hotel is in a lively neighbourhood and just around the corner from numerous restaurants with plenty of dining options. The room was clean and suited our needs. Staff were really helpful. We had a great stay.

I was in Athens for work and had to leave daily at 7-7.30 am, but breakfast wasn't served till 8 am.
Excellent location, not far from Monastiraki subway station, 24-hour mini market open nearby. Tiny room without a view but it was OK for me as I went for work and stayed in my room very briefly.

The room was smallish but nothing that made the stay difficult. The design of the shower enclosure made using the rain shower head a problem with splashing water all over the bathroom. Thankfully, there was an optional shower wand. However, the partial enclosure of the shower made it easy to drench the bathroom with the wand, too.
Great breakfast. Lots of choices. No reason to go hungry. The room was clean and the housekeeper did a good job. The location was a little hard to find (typical in this area) but was very close to.lots of dining choices.

The double room was quite small They was only a bedside table and light on one side of the bed..

We had the Acroplis view room which was nice but the room was tiny. There is no shower door so the bathroom floor got rather wet. There was no side table or light on the one side of the bed which made it hard to read at night..
Breakfast was a plus. The location was also good. Angelo at the front desk was helpful.

Rooms were small but to be expected for the central location and value for money.

There is no variety in breakfast, especially for those who don't eat meat. The shower in the room is open so when you shower all the water sprays all over the shower room and the whole floor fills with water after every shower. We arrived late one evening and the hotel was closed and there was no one at the reception so we waited outside until someone happened to hear and opened it for us. The building next door is undergoing renovations so at 8am we could already hear construction work. Our room was close to the elevator and the door was apparently not sealed so we could hear every person walking in the hallway and talking
The staff is very nice, the location is relatively close to the center with a 2 minute walk from Ermu Street, the room is small but enough for a couple

Breakfasts were dissapointing. Every day the same, not much to chose from and not to my taste. :(
The room was nice (clean, comfortable). Hotel is close to the Monastiriaki metro station so moving aroud the city and to the airport is easy from there. There are also lot of nice restaurants around.
