The gorgeous bathroom didn't have a magnify mirror (indispensable for old people). This is why I didn't give 5 stars.

The view; the room; the stuff (Irina and the other girl that I don't remember the name - Sorry); the cleaning lady. They were all very helpful and pleasant. Also has good restaurant near by and a 20 minutes pleasant walk to the Old Town.

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Batis. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, they assisted me with everything I needed and always made me feel welcome. Their warmth and genuine Greek hospitality made me feel at home. The hotel is beautifully renovated, very clean, and perfectly located in Rethymno, just a few steps from the beach, many restaurants, and the charming old town. Everything was comfortable and convenient, and I truly enjoyed my time here. As a small suggestion, the towels could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly or the detergent could be changed, as the scent was a bit strong. Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I left with beautiful memories. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness and care!

The set format of breakfast. You had no choice of what to eat but were presented with 5 items: bread, pastries, cake, sweet yoghurt and a savoury dish. We don't like/eat cake, bread and pastries so we were only able to enjoy 2 out of 5 items. It would perhaps be better to offer a buffet so that guests can choose what they like and have enough to eat!

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. The reception and housekeeping staff were wonderful - always available and helpful. The apartment was cleaned daily and towels changed very frequently.

The tropical shower was amazing, but there’s no door, so a lot of water ends up on the floor

Great location - about a 30-minute easy walk along the sea to the old town, which was really pleasant. We visited in October, and there were no issues with street parking nearby. The beach area feels open and spacious, not crowded like in the center. The staff were very kind and friendly, and we were allowed to check in early. There’s a bar downstairs, and the beach has its own sun loungers, which was really convenient.

Everything perfect!

We were very satisfied with our stay at Batis Beach Hotel. The service was of the highest quality – polite, helpful, and genuinely caring about the guests’ comfort. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The breakfasts were delicious — every day we left full and happy. The hotel’s location is perfect — the beach is right outside, and it’s just a short walk to the city center. The surroundings are peaceful, with no parties or noise near the hotel. After exploring Crete, we believe that Rethymno is the most beautiful place to stay. We highly recommend this hotel and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nice location. Side Seaview which was perfect as noise from main road could be a problem. Staff helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, pillows and rooms. Nespresso machine and 2 pods with small fridge

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Crete! Everything went smoothly from the start, and for the first three days we were even upgraded to a different room. The location is perfect: just a 20-minute walk from the lively city center, yet peaceful with a beautiful sea view and plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast is not a buffet, but it’s complete and more than enough to start the day. One evening, after a Greek cooking class, we brought back some leftovers and the lovely staff member Eirini warmed them up for us and even provided cutlery. We were not the easiest guests since we had a lot of questions, but nothing was ever too much trouble. Eirini, in particular, was incredibly helpful and kind. At check-out she even gave us a hug goodbye – such a warm and heartfelt gesture. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and well-located place to stay in Crete!

Very good hotel: clean rooms, great breakfast and exceptional staff - for example, they packed our breakfast because we had an early trip, they allowed us to take a shower after the check out as we were to the beach until the afternoon etc. Also very comfortable beds, we slept very well and a great location right across the beach and not a long walk to the old town.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Batis Beach Hotel! The location is perfect, right by the sea, with beautiful views and easy access to Rethymno’s attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. What made our holiday really special was the warm hospitality of the staff. Eirini and the whole team were always kind, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. We enjoyed every day of our vacation here and left with beautiful memories. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rethymno and we would love to come back again in the future!

Great location, on the beach and a 15 minute walk to the harbour and old town. Staff are so friendly and helpful especially Eirini! Room was clean and modern and had everything we needed. Beach bar was great too, with food and drink delivered to your lounger, staff were super friendly and it created a great chilled atmosphere, would definitely book again!

Very good hotel hotel ideally situated on the sea front and not too far from the old town of Rethymno. Walking time : 25 mn and cheap taxis are available too if you are too tired to walk. The hotel lends beach towels so you don't have to bring them from home and the beach bar "Cactus" is fine. You can rent 2 sun-beds with two drinks for 12€ a day. The hotel is very clean and modern. Breakfast on the rooftop is really enjoyable. The reception team, especially Eirini (very warm and resourceful), is great, helpful and available. The cleaning ladies are very nice too and efficient. We greatly enjoyed our 4-night stay in Batis hotel and do recommend this establishment.

Couldn't recommend enough, everything about this hotel is amazing. Very friendly staff who helped us out on a few ocassions. Rooms seem recently renovated and everything is squeaky clean and spacious. View is excellent, and the beach bar works until late at night so you can go out for a drink anytime. The hotel is placed perfectly as it's not in the center so it's not too busy, but it's a short walk to Old Town and it never feels empty.

All staff were very warm and welcoming :) Location is great proximity to beach and a 15 minute walk along the coast into town, which we loved. Facilities were great, very clean and modern! We had the side sea view room and it was perfect, the street wasn’t loud in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

Staff is very helpful,they gave us a lot of good information. Especially the blonde girl,sorry I forgot her name. The bedroom was pretty big and so clean.
