Not much nearby and bus stops 2km away at the top of the hill, so not easy to access other restaurants or interesting sites without a car

Impressive buffet breakfast that ran late so we had time for a swim or gym or lie in before breakfast. High spec gym and nice pools, right on the beach. Really stylish hotel with excellent staff / service.

The rooms are a bit small to be honest. The drinks are not cheap.

The staff are all, all of them doing their very utmost to give you an excellent time. Food is all abundant and excellent and with ample hours. The building is spaciouss and the facilities are great. We had a sea view. I think all rooms have a fairly large balcony.

staff is not able to cope with minor task on reasonable time. you need to ask for everything all the time. for example, you order starters to share at dinner and they will leave the dishes in the middle. that’s it. they wont put individual plates or serving cutlery. they will say that all restaurants are fully booked except the buffet ( I believe thats where they make most money) but we went anyway to one of the restaurants and got a table and sat there for two hours and it was probably 30% full. you will see many “wet floor” signs around but will never see anyone cleaning. it seems they wait until the weather dries things up. if you go to the swimming pool by 10am, they have not yet cleaned up from the previous day. still, staff will always do what you asked and will be friendly, but you have to ask.

Room service was slow and we had to chase for our replacement towels at 3.30pm as my daughter wanted to take a nap. Felt the evening entertainment could have had more choices - music was supposed to play until 9.30pm in the bar but it was finished before 9pm. Also very little amenities close by - pharmacy over 20 mins drive away to get painkillers.

Buffet food was very good at both breakfast and dinner. Excellent choices which were of a high quality. Check in was good and we enjoyed our welcome drink and the speed of check in and our luggage being delievered to the room. Good spa facilities and enjoyed our treatments. Rooms located in ideal spot and kids loved the swim up pool.

the main driveway into the hotel takes you past the laundry section of the hotel, not a very welcoming sight! we booked 3 rooms, 2 of which weren’t available until 4/5pm, despite us being in the hotel from midday. the food at spianada leaves a lot to be desired - extremely expensive and the food was average at best. also mixed up our coffee orders and brought out the wrong drinks but we had waited 15 mins for them already so just drank what we were given ! 1 cup of filter coffee is €4..

It’s irritating that the policy of not reserving sun beds around the pool and beach is not upheld. We went to Corfu to lie on the beach and around the pool and spent 8 hours there every day. Each day we would arrive at 10 am to find all of the day beds at the adult pool and all of the front lounges at the beach reserved and no people in site. We found these people would turn up for a couple of hours in the middle of the day. If the property cannot uphold the policy they need to empower guests to remove the blue property towels that are used to ‘reserve’ lounges. clearly the property is aware this is a problem and it needs to be addressed so as to not diminish the overall experience

The staff are consistently EXCEPTIONAL and work consistently to provide stellar customer service. This includes all of the grounds staff, room service and catering. In particular a big shout out to the lady in charge of the eggs- she makes brilliant omelettes. Breakfasts were fabulous. The property has a beautiful aesthetic and all of the facilities are excellent.

-Slow and seemingly untrained staff; many appeared to be inexperienced or still in training -Room not as pictured; bathroom was old, rusty, and lacked the depicted walk-in shower -Sunbeds often taken by absent guests; no enforcement of reservation rules by staff -Kids feeding stray cats inside the buffet area in front of staff, who took no action -Constant noise from children throughout the hotel; no intervention by staff or parents -Bathroom ventilation ineffective; no noticeable airflow -Gym significantly smaller than pictured, and no outdoor area as advertised — misleading presentation -Grill canteen schedule unreliable: listed hours were Friday and Saturday 15:00–18:00, but on Saturday it was closed without notice. Staff told us it would open Sunday instead, but it was closed again — no communication at all -Warm water outages occurred 3 out of 5 nights for 15–30 minutes in the evening -Request for a softer pillow took 50 minutes to fulfill — possibly due to understaffed housekeeping -Staff often promised help or support but were slow to follow through or unable to assist -Bathroom mirror light was not working throughout the stay -Dress codes at restaurants were not enforced at all; many guests wore flip-flops or casual clothes despite stated policies -Quiet zones and adult-only areas (like the beach section or breakfast room) were not respected or monitored -Very poor soundproofing in the rooms; we could clearly hear hallway conversations and noise from adjacent rooms Summary: The hotel presents itself as a place that offers a premium experience, with attentive service and 24/7 support. While the intention may be there, the execution simply doesn’t live up to that promise. Staff were generally friendly but service was slow and inconsistent, rules were not enforced, and many of the facilities didn’t match their descriptions or advertised quality. It was difficult to truly relax during our stay.

We recently stayed as a family of three (including our young child) and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Beyond the beautiful location and crystal-clear waters, the food was truly outstanding. The breakfast and dinner buffets were incredible — both in variety and quantity. Every meal felt like a feast, with something delicious for everyone. The à la carte restaurants were equally impressive. We were initially skeptical about the Yaosai restaurant with Asian cuisine, but it greatly exceeded our expectations — a delightful surprise! Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. Two special highlights of our stay were the traditional Greek night, which was full of energy and fun, featuring authentic smoked and grilled meats in a festive atmosphere — a real cultural treat! And on Sunday afternoon, we enjoyed a fantastic Greek taverna experience right by the beach. The setting was idyllic, and the food and music made it a truly unforgettable afternoon. Kudos to the chefs and staff for their outstanding work. The service was warm, attentive, and made our dining experiences even more enjoyable. We definitely recommend this hotel and would gladly visit again!

Our stay was far from what we expected. The hotel was overcrowded with children — crying, shouting, and running around everywhere. I’ve honestly never seen so many kids in one place. During check-in, you're made to wait in a noisy, chaotic lobby with numerous other families. Although the hotel tries to project a sense of luxury, the experience felt forced and inauthentic. Despite having many guest relations staff, they were neither friendly nor helpful. The main pool was overrun with children, making it impossible to relax. There is an adults-only area, but it's quite small and lacks enough sunbeds, which only adds to the frustration. Both check-in and check-out processes were extremely slow and inefficient. Staff gave the impression that they wanted to help, but ultimately did nothing to improve the experience. My pre-arrival messages and requests were completely ignored. The rooms offered little privacy, as the walls were paper-thin — we could hear everything from neighboring rooms. Maintenance was also lacking: our showerhead and a light bulb were broken upon arrival. It felt like the entire staff consisted of trainees or seasonal workers, not the standard you'd expect from a Marriott property. Overall, this was a disappointing and stressful stay. The hotel offers a "fake luxury" experience and fails to live up to the Marriott name. I would not recommend staying here — save your time, money, and energy for somewhere that truly values guest comfort and service.

It’s definitely a family holiday place. There are a lot of children, so if you want a place to relax this may not be the place to do so. Also, the rooms can be quite loud - especially the rooms with adjoining door or ones by the elevator. I can’t say I’ll be back. The domes in Crete is way better and would recommend that place over the one is Corfu. Also, the food was okay - the restaurants were not open all the time so we left the hotel into the nearby towns to eat.

The beds and rooms were super comfortable and the beach is amazing to relax at.
