Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceNothing at all.
Immaculately clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice view of the square and an amazingly tasty and varied breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the bathroom too. Staff were very professional and friendly and were immaculately presented in their uniforms.

AustraliaRooms are outdated - meeds refurbishment, rooms not soundproofed and could hear neighbouring rooms/hallway activity, basic wellness facilities like the hammam should be free of charge.
Fabulous location, clean, helpful staff.

United KingdomIt would have been nice to have free access for the pool. At breakfast the choice ran out very quickly in the mornings and it was generally a bit limited. They closed all the windows on the terrace, but then still allowed smoking which was really unpleasant and made it pretty unusable.
The people working in the hotel were amazing - really friendly and helpful. We would go back just because of them. Nothing was too much trouble. We wanted extra hangers and I think they just went to a shop and bought a load! The location of the hotel was great for going out in the evenings and for exploring the island. Our rooms were excellent with very comfortable beds, great air con and good bathrooms

United KingdomI don’t think anything can be changed which would have made our stay any different
Breakfast a little predictable needs to change every 2/3 days maybe, apart from that everything was good, when the pool and spa are finished that will make a big difference

United KingdomThe breakfast not always laid out in order where you could find things a bit confusing but this was a small matter.
Reception let us in our room early as it was ready. Lovely balcony with chairs looking out over the square. Perfect. Breakfast good and could eat either outside on the terrace or inside. Hot food as well as cold. Would use this hotel again as it is in the centre of Argostoli and has say access to restaurants shops, and walks by the harbour.

United KingdomOpen plan shower room with courtesey curtain provided. Seemed a little pointless as the very well equipped and modern shower room would have been appreciated just as much had there been a proper door to the room.
Location was excellent in the centre of the city. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops close by. Room was a good size with very modern furniture and fittings . Mattress was very comfortable. Unfortunately due to a late arrival we were too late for dinner. Breakfast buffet served on the terrace overlooking the main square - good selection and quality of food. Staff were polite and helpful. Would book again !

NetherlandsFacilities and the room feel quite old. Without the hottub part, it would have been underwhelming for the price. Still a bit too expensive for the value.
Took the penthouse suite with outdoor hottub. Obviously enjoyed the hot tub a lot. Location of hotel is great.

United KingdomCappuccino and expresso are not included and are charged separately. As very few people drunk tea they would just boil water in a kettle and sometimes wasn't hot enough. As I liked to sleep with windows open, a lot of noise came from the square crowded with people until 1 am in the morning .
My room was large, bright and very modern with a large flat TV and a lovely balcony on the main square. The hotel is very centrally located and the Napier Garden stop is 100m away. Lassi si only 15 minutes away by bus and beaches there are wonderful. The airport is also quite close by bus and taxi. The breakfast was good and regularly refilled until 11 am. It included cooked typical greek savory pastries and great bread. Beach towels, sleepers and other amenities were provided.
