Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Romania-
My wife told me she wants to stay here more than 10 days ! We stayed only 2 nights in this wonderful village full of history. The traditional house, alone, everything you need, cleanliness, quiet, close to all objectives. For us, was the best stays in our trip in Greece !

AustraliaI suggest a coat and hat rack in the house.
This property is in a quiet village 30-45 minutes from Dimitsana. While having a beer on the exquisite picnic table you could hear a pin drop. Well-appointed house with loads of space, surprisingly quality wifi and interesting walks nearby. You will need to do your shopping before arrival as there is nothing here. We tried the local restaurant and taverna. Stick with the taverna.

FinlandEverything was nice, but it is a relatively long ride from "civilization" in any directions and no shops or any services in a village at least not this time of the year. We did not really need them and as they had basic food reserved already in the evening, all was fine.
Cozy place, feels like home. Many nice surprises including various food items, drinks and even chocolate. Warm place and friendly hosts. Very quiet environment.

It's really a treat to stay here with lots of space inside and outside. The owner provided us with lots of extras and breakfast ingredients. Then there is the heating and open fire for cosy atmosphere. Just gorgeous.

Dimitris and his mama are great hosts, very smooth communication and arrival. this is a beautiful and well equipped house where you can feel home as soon as you step in. the view from the terraces are splendid and very relaxing! Attention to details matter: amazing to find a well stock kitchen when it comes to oil, salt and other condiments, as well as fresh fruits, chocolates and water around the house!

EstoniaThis place exceeded our expectations! The house was so nice with its traditional Greek decorations. And my favorite was the big table on the terrace. The view around was amazing. Definitely the accommodation with the best atmosphere on our trip to Greece!

United KingdomThis is not a negative point against the apartment - just a note that there isn't a village shop and, when we were there at least, the tavernas were only opening in the evenings at the weekend.
This place gives you sole occupancy of a spacious apartment set on the first floor of a traditional house. The views from every window, and the terrace in particular, are stupendous and the village is very peaceful - mostly all you can hear is birdsong and goat bells. It's in a great location for visiting several other mountain villages - a terrific area for driving around. We loved the huge main room with a great kitchen area, comfy sofas and a log fire to add to the atmosphere. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and concerned that we should have everything we needed to really enjoy our stay. The fact that they did not speak English ( nor us Greek) was overcome by texting or calling Dimitri, the son, for information or translations - very easy and prompt! It was Easter when we visited and our hostess had decorated the apartment, which was quite delightful, and provided traditional Waster eggs, biscuits and other wonderful home made produce. We felt really cared for and will definitely be back!
