Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Great welcome from the host who not only explained everything about the property but also all about the touristic activities that can also be booked at their reception desk. Breakfast in brought in the villa and is very exquisite with and made jam and typical Greek product.

There's nothing we can really complain about.
A fantastic villa, spotless, perfect service with a generous breakfast served every day by the pool. Easy to get to from the airport, a five minute walk from multiple restaurants and shops.

There was nothing we didn't like about this Villa.
Well.... what can I say, exceptional! Villa was absolutely stunning! The host and staff were fabulous and I really do not have a bad word to say about this lovely place! I went with my partner, brother-in law and his girlfriend. After our first night we organised for my best friend to join us which wasn't a problem at all for the staff and they organised for the sofa bed to be up and ready for her arrival and none of this was an issue which made it all run smoothly with no problems. The pool is lovely and we had a lot of laughs! The breakfast was incredible with lots of choice and was always on time for our allocated chosen time slot, which again the staff who put our breakfast out each morning were very friendly and would have a good chat with us. The Villa is close to a few restaurants and has a shop only a short walk away. On our first night we walked to a lovely restaurant called The Edge, here the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend going here for a meal if your visiting. The beds are extremely comfortable and as I've already mention above the place is just stunning. Plenty big enough for the 5 of us. On our last day we weren't flying until the evening so the host arranged for us to be picked up with luggage on the morning and allowed us to stay by the pool in the hotel before we made our way to the airport this made it all stress free for us as we didn't need to wait around looking for things to do all day as we could chill by the pool.

Minor stuff... No clinex, but we bought a box from the local store.
Big breakfast. Quiet location, walking distance from restaurants and food stores. Konstantinos was a great tour guide and had a lot of good vacation tips. The host Vitali was friendly and made our stay very pleasant.

I couldn't fault a thing with the villa, it was immaculately clean. The breakfast was great brought to the villa every morning and very tasty. Anything we required whether it was trips out, information, restaurants, nothing was ever too much trouble. Kostas and his staff was so friendly it made you feel at home. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

All staff were more thank helpful and friendly. Everything was amazing. The villa was perfect. The breakfast so beautiful and comfortable in the villa's garden. The private pool was very nice and coozy. Near the villa we can fing shops and good restaurants too.We loved it and absolutely recommend for a perfect holiday :) . We will come back and thank you so much for the 5* accomodation and every help.Thank you Mr Kostas and Vitaly to organise for us everything :) .

Same breakfast every day. It gets monoton after a couple of days. Villa is only cleaned every second day. But those are governments rules due to COVID-19. We had a misunderstanding with the taxi. Transport booked by hotel is expensive.
Great Staff!!! Always available on whatsapp!!! Place was very clean even the private pool. Bed down stairs was very comfortable. Everything works: TV, microwave, coffee machine, water boiler, fridge A/C. The balcony downstairs has a wire to hang your bathing suits to dry. It’s a calm quiet place. Breakfast is brought to the villa. Transport to and from airport.

Wow!! It was amazing!!! The villa - super clean, cozy, with exceptional design! The owner mr.Kostas - fantastic open person! Please, listen to him - he advises really good things and worthy ideas! And of course staff - they get 10 points!!!!!!! Thanks to Vitalij and his wife our family had an unforgetable week with totaly no worries! ♡♡♡♡
