We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe arrived late at night and did not receive a good welcome from the older man on reception. We asked him for water which he declined and said we’d get some in our room. Having been on a long flight with 2 small children it was a small ask. Later in the week we went to reception again and my husband asked if we could get water for our room as we didn’t receive any that day and he was rude and said he didn’t have any but then walked to the bathroom to hand just one small bottle to him ( we are a family of 4) saying there was no more! My husband had to leave the hotel and walk across to a late night fast food to buy some- not what you expect from a 5 star resort. Think his name was pedro. Shame because all other staff members were very good. We asked about the kids club on arrival to be told there wasn’t any but just some activities around the pool. There was very little for my 4 and 5 year old to do. The entertainment at the hotel was almost non existent. There is only 1 public toilet for the pool area which also serves the guests in house. It was quite inconvenient not having restrooms by the swimming pool area- especially with kids. Lastly, the hotel overall is very clean but there is an awful smell of sick around the reception area. They should sort that.
Fantastic location in the centre and only a few minutes walk to the beach Most staff were very pleasant and accommodating The place is very clean. Room service was excellent Good range of food at buffet. Lovely selection of fresh fruits and salads

LithuaniaHowever, there were a few aspects that did not meet the expectations typically associated with a five-star resort. Most notably, we had an unfortunate experience with the main bartender, whose attitude and service were not in line with the standards of a luxury hospitality establishment. The level of attentiveness and general demeanor fell short of what one would reasonably expect, which impacted our overall impression. Additionally, we were surprised to learn that the "all-inclusive" package did not include basic items such as bottled water, and were advised to purchase these from a market instead. Furthermore, it was not clearly communicated prior to or during check-in that the resort offers an "extra all-inclusive" package at an additional cost of €50 per person per day. This lack of transparency led to confusion and some disappointment, as such details are important for guests to make informed decisions before and during their stay.
The resort's facilities were maintained to the high standards, and the staff consistently demonstrated attentiveness, courtesy, and professionalism. My accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, contributing greatly to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

NorwayWhile we enjoyed many aspects of our stay, there were several things that did not meet our expectations for a five-star hotel. One of the most disappointing experiences was at the evening bar. We encountered a bartender (“Georgios” or something similar) who was openly rude and impatient with us on more than one occasion. When we asked whether certain drinks were nonalcoholic, he responded with visible irritation and raised his voice in front of other guests. This made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome, to the point that we avoided the bar for the rest of our stay — even though we had paid for an all-inclusive package. In addition, not all drinks were included in the all-inclusive package, and surprisingly, we had to pay extra for drinking water, while alcoholic drinks were free. As non-drinkers, we found the alcohol-free options very limited, and the bar staff seemed unwilling to offer alternatives. There were also no snacks available after 22:00, which felt quite limited for an all-inclusive resort. The room we stayed in was quite outdated and, in our opinion, not up to the standard expected of a five-star hotel.
We absolutely enjoyed the activities at the pool area — the animation team was fantastic! We felt very welcome, and the team members were all incredibly friendly and full of positive energy. A special thank you to Alan, who made the vacation truly memorable for our son. Our children had so much fun, thanks to the activities and the great atmosphere created by the team. Also, the bartender at the pool bar was fantastic — very helpful, friendly, and professional. Service there was always a pleasure. These moments really added something special to our stay!

EstoniaDishes was sometimes dirty, room cleaning wasn't also so good. Smoking on balconies, pool area and lounge area. Smokers could have a separate area where they are only allowed to smoke.
Menu was varied. The pool area was big enough.

IsraelOverall, even though the hotel staff was friendly and tried to help, our overall stay wasn't good. I wouldn't rate it as a 5 stars hotel, perhaps a 3 stars. The rooms cleanliness wasn't good, in one room we've had many ants, in the other there were red bugs- Hotel staff could only suggested to change the sheets and pillows. Rooms were also very small. Food- Quantity was good, but it wasn't tasty. After being in other hotels in Greece, I don't think it's a 5 stars standard, unfortunately- Will not recommend.
Staff was friendly, tried to help. Location is good, beach is nice We've got fruits and wine when we've arrived, which was nice..

United KingdomSpa facilities were dirty and very grubby. Also not very hygienic with towels being used from previous customer. The masseuse was from an externally company to provide the service. For me this let the hotel down as the service was despicable. When you pay for a 60min full body massage with essential Greek oils and get a basic back rub with olive oil which lasted 30 mins for me this is not meeting customer needs. When addressed with the masseuse she informed that she had to attend a wedding rehearsal. This is Not acceptable and doesn’t represent the hotel and their staff
Facilities were spotlessly clean and staff members work so hard to make your holiday very special. From the moment you walk through the doors until your departure. food is great and catering for everyone’s dietary needs.

AustraliaWe booked this hotel as a 5-star all inclusive resort but were quite disappointed. We were not happy with our room but fortunately were able to move after the first night. I was surprised at the lack of toiletries in the bathroom, only a liquid soap dispenser. There were no waiters serving wine from a bottle during meals. Red, white or rose was available from a tap in the restaurant. I asked at reception why there was no wine in a bottle and was advised that premium drinks are available at an additional cost of €50 per person per day. The lobby bar did not serve any nibbles with drinks, unlike other hotels and bars in Greece. A refundable deposit is charged for a pool towel, and there is also a charge for sunbeds on the beach. The laundry service was very expensive, e.g. €5.30 for a pair of shorts and €11 for a dress. The hot food in the restaurant was mostly lukewarm or cold.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff who were very friendly and helpful, particularly Irene and Manolis at the front desk, George the barman, and the ladies who clear the tables in the restaurant. The pool is big, was never crowded and there were always plenty of sunbeds available.

IsraelThe private pool was too cold to actually swim in. Bed mattresses could have been in a better shape. Room had ants in it, which we told the hotel about but to no avail
Hotel is of high quality. Staff were always kind and happy to help. Bar tenders were happy to prepare a wide variety of drinks. Outside pool is always clean. The swim up room itself is quite nice, the pool is clean and quiet and offers a lot of area to relax in

United KingdomHaving booked a budget self catering apartment for our vacation we decided to splash out as it was my partners birthday so I decided on this hotel based on the reviews. The service and hotel did not disappoint and with a quick message ahead mentioning my partners birthday they organised a cake, fresh fruit platter and a bottle of wine to be delivered to the room upon arrival. We were also lucky enough to be upgraded to the swim up room which made our stay amazing from start to finish. The all inclusive has a great drink selection and the food was plenty, with a variety of choices for all tastes and the pool bar offering grab and go items throughout the day. The lady on reception was extremely friendly and we really appreciated every thing they did for us during our short but amazing stay. Thank you More
