That I had to leave that amazing place. If I ever go back, it will only be to return to Las Lagunas boutique hotel. Simply amazing.

The hotel mixed luxury and jungle life perfectly. The hotel is well designed with lagoon front villas, overlooking amazing views. The staff was incredibly nice and very kind. The food was also great! A little bit pricey but worth every penny.

The only thing I did not like were the prices of services at the spa and laundry. $5 USD to wash a single pair of underwear. $120 for a massage less than 1 hour. I usually partake of these services but not this time. The pricing was disproportionately high given the relative cost of labor and other services. That was disappointing.

Location was great. Rooms excellent. The environment fantastic. The service was very good at the restaurant and by the pool

In our accommodation number 7 i felt we lacked privacy with proximity to the pool and being overlooked from the boathouse. When we stayed there, there were groundsmen working in front of our windows so felt the need to keep blinds closed. The jacuzzi deck would benefit from an additional blind or a better screening option from the pool. Overall, the accommodation was of a very high standard but there were a couple of issues. The toilet seat was ill fitted, the shower blind was broken and showing signs of mould. This is disappointing given the cost and standard of the property. The food is great, and the staff are attentive but had some issues being gluten intolerant. Not all staff are aware what this means and how to help you order. Would be great to have gluten free pasta options too.

The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel. Effortlessly welcoming, helpful and attentive. Can't do enough for you but in a relaxed manner. The hotel has the most beautiful natural setting which is so very unique and relaxing. We loved the museum and taking a bike and kayak around the grounds. The pool is beautiful and often empty. Proximity to Tikal and Yaxha in addition to the airport is a bonus. The food was great if not a little limited if you have any restrictions.. see below.

Everything about the place exceeded our expectations. The staff was really friendly; they welcomed us with a cocktail and were more than willing to help arrange activities for us. nothing, everything was great

Our family of 3 stayed for 1 night in a room with 2 double beds with a jacuzzi on the patio. The hotel was amazing! The room was beautiful, right on the lake, spacious, super clean and tidy, peaceful. They even had L'Occitane bath products. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. I emailed them prior to our stay, and they always replied promptly and answered all of my questions. They had umbrellas that we could borrow, they stored our luggage for us, and the welcome hibiscus drink was so refreshing. We did the monkey island tour which was fun to tour around the lake and visit the monkeys. We visited their private museum full of artifacts. My husband and son borrowed their bicycles and explored a bit. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel which was all delicious with beautiful views. The main reason we stayed in Flores area was to visit Tikal and Yaxha. I only wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the property more. I highly recommend staying at Las Lagunas (more than 1 night).

Background music relaxing but something with a more local/latin American vibe would be better. The good quality toiletries appreciated but no excuse for miniatures and the resulting plastic waste. Restaurant bar prices in the high side.

Beautiful setting on undeveloped lake surrounded by jungle. Super comfortable cabins with amazing verandah with hot tub and private view of lake. Great bathroom with huge shower. Complimentary water and coffee in room. Comfortable loungers around infinity pool. Lovely bar and restaurant area. Good choice of traditional and international food available most of the day. Complimentary Kayaks and bicycles and boat trip to Monkey Island.

    No complains

Beautiful hotel with an Amazonian feel to it , situated in a huge property off of Flores - 15 min away from the little downtown Flores island area. Hotel charges $20s each way to get to the town and same for airport transfers. Everyone in the hotel was very welcoming and kind , the waiters are the ones that make your stay even 20 times better - they take the time to learn your name and where you come from. The boat ride to the spider monkey island in the hotel was such a great add on experience to our stay. Also the Tikal tour guides the hotel gets for you are very knowledgeable and friendly ( Donald and Marvin were great ) . The food in the hotel is also delicious, i would recommend eating inside the hotel better than outside . The rooms are like described , very spacious , clean and comfortable- the jacuzzi was great after being out all day. Would definitely stay here again !
