It is a great apartment, well-maintained and clean. It was easy to find the location and collect the key. The parking is in front of the building, but you need to pay. The location is great and many restaurants around.

The location is excellent. We were not there for the beach, obviously, so I don’t know if it would work for somebody who is, but we loved it. very urban part, a parking lot just in front of it..

This didn't really impact our stay but the door to our room was very stiff to a point where it initially wouldn't open when I tried to push it open, so I had to contact the host by phone who explained that I needed to push really hard. Once I knew it was only stiff and not a problem with the code, we could live with it and in fact made me feel a little bit safer (not that the area feels unsafe)! However, for someone who is weak, it would have been a struggle to get into the room. It wasn't ever an issue with being able to open the door from inside. Perhaps the host should just pre-warn guests when sharing the code so they don't think they've been given the wrong code or they've entered the wrong code.

I really liked the room decor, cleanliness, size and view from our balcony (lovely view). We had the first floor apartment (called Sveti Peter) so an easy walk up the stairs. There is also a lift. The location within Markarska is very convenient with only a very short walk to the old town, waterfront restaurants, and beach. The modern kitchenette was also an added bonus for us, with hob, sink, microwave and coffee pod machine. There is like a small reception on the ground floor but we never saw anyone down there. We saw the lady that cleans the rooms a couple of times and she was ever so nice and friendly, and kept our room very clean. The overall building was nicer than I was expecting... I liked the stairwell and hallways. It was very quiet... the restaurant below was closed (not sure if permanently or just for the Autumn/Winter seasons). If I came to Markarska again, I'd definitely stay here!

Such an amazing accommodation, we booked the studio with sea/port view, it looked exactly like in the photos, everything was truly AMAZING! Concerning the parking, there is indeed a public parking space as mentioned in a previous comment (thank you for that), it’s right across LIDL (zone 3)and it costs 12 eur/day, we’ve installed BMove app and everything was so smooth. The beach, port, old center, restaurants etc. are walking distance, we would definitely come back here, Makarska vibes are simply unique!

We went by public transport from Split airport to Makarska and we had a reality check that s all lol and no Ubers around though the app said 6 minutes... not true. It was very hard to event get a local taxi. And that was in June

People have been mentioning the parking situation which made us anxious before arriving with a car. We asked the host for parking details and we weren’t really given much instructions which was not helpful as the parking is tricky to navigate if you don’t know as the closest car park is €4 per hour. Luckily we spoke to a local lady when we were outside the property stuck with what to do with our car who gave us the information that the hotel should have given us. PARKING INFO - At the top of the road it is free but it is so busy and hard to find a space, also some parts of the road you will get a ticket so in our opinion not worth the hassle. Literally round the corner (1 minute drive/ 5 minute walk) is a big car park called Makarska car park and it’s €12 per day. The car park is in Zone 3. Download the Bmove parking app and you can pay for zone 3 parking on there and update the time if you are staying longer. This was so cheap and so simple and safe for the car too. It would have been much less stressful if the accommodation just provided this info.

This property was in an amazing location right on the waterfront about 2 minute walk to the beach for our morning swim. The rooms are decorated really nicely and are super comfortable. Check in is easy (you don’t actually speak to anyone just get a code). It’s right in the middle of everything but we found it was very quiet and restful.

We cant find our apartments, becouse there are lot of them around the location. It would be great that can always send small information with some pictures how to find it.

Everything was perfect. No complaints. Some people might be bothered by the music from the restaurants downstairs but only if you have a room facing the harbour.

It is a perfect place for everyone, family or couples. We had a beautiful room with with a great balcony and an amazing view. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit.

The apartment was simple but clean and very well located, right by the port and just a short walk to the beach, which was a big plus. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to stay close to the sea and nearby restaurants. The amenities are basic but enough for a short stay. The hosts were very kind and helpful — they even kept our luggage at the reception until the evening after we checked out, which we really appreciated. A good option for a relaxed seaside getaway.
