Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We’re currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil, and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

This is hardly a criticism, but I think you needed to fill the bath using the shower head - though this just could have been me not figuring out how to divert the water from the shower...
We were really pleased with Collect Residence and would definitely recommend a stay there/stay there again ourselves when we next travel to Budapest. This Apart-Hotel offers comfortable, peaceful, stylish accommodation in a convenient central location. The 24 hour concierge staff were extremely polite and helpful, and we wished we were staying for longer.

Not really a downside, but the area is pretty quiet. We couldn't smoke on the terrace, but that's probably forced by the government
Very comfortable apartment near the city center. Quiet location in a 'forgotten' corner of Budapest. But we think the area will be upgraded soon! Comfortable beds, quiet room (no noise from the neighbors), nice bathrooms, a lovely terrace,... Nothing to complain about! Staff was always friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the lobby, etc

We had a misunderstanding regarding the parking price. Before arrival, I was told 14 euros/night, but at the check-in it was 25 euros. Finally, things were sorted and I payed the first price.
Really clean appartment with 2 bathrooms (but only one has a toilet). The beds are comfortable. If you don't mind a little walk to the city center it's just perfect.

Nothing I really have to say , just I have a suggestion to add a small closet with clothes hanger and a place to put shoes next to the door inside of the apartment. there is a perfect place in left side when you enter into apartment .
Our Apartment was clean, modern, in a very good size for 2-4 people including all you need for a comfortable stay. Location was great , quiet with easy access to public transportations, around you have many supermarkets and walking distance to coffee and restaurants .

There were no downsides to our stay.
We had an exceptional experience at Collect Residence! The staff went above and beyond to make sure every need was met, showing incredible hospitality and attention to detail. A new hotel, very clean, big apartment, highly equipped. A refrigerator, a dishwasher, an air conditioner, and more, all new. Staff is very kind and helpful. Parking is available at a private garage (pay per night). Close to metro station. We liked it a lot.
