Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel is getting dated and could do with a good maintenance programme..many things like the carpets etc are worn and tired looking.
Convenient location. All inclusive price…breakfast and dinner very good…lots of choice… Sauna, pool etc included… Have stayed several times before..

Guests inconsiderable to others. The noise.
Nice and corteous staff. Well, most of it. Clean wellness area especialy appreciated considering the amount of guests in the place. Good food well presented. Great hotel location.

The common areas are a bit outdated, but for a 3 star they are fine. It would be nice to have a swimming pool in the spa area.
The room&bathroom is beautifully refurbished, could be that of a 4 or 5 star hotel. The breakfast variety is impressive. The staff forthcoming and professional. The barista in the lobby cafe prepared an artwork of a cappu.

Hotel is getting run down. This is the third time staying here and seems to have declined each time. The cleaners leave a lot to be desired. Even after leaving a request to clean the room it was not done. We had to request toilet roll at reception. When they did clean it seems they just changed the towels and empty the bin. Not good enough. Have mentioned before about the shower, ok if you are no taller than 4 foot!!!
Food was very good, both breakfast and dinner. The spa, sauna and swimming were also very good and included in the price. For us the location was great.

Maybe swimming poolls and surrounding were little bit unmaintained. I know that painting and maintaining ceilings above pools is expensive but it is important. Relaxing was super.
Breakfast + dinner = very very tasty. Our stay was super.

Would have preferred a double bed rather than 2 beds pushed together! Shower was not very good…
Staff were friendly and welcoming… Excellent food… Spa, pools and saunas very good… Great location…

The hotel is mediocre, old fashioned. The balcony was dirty and the carpets had stains all over. A full renovation would have been needed for the whole place (wellness included)
great location, good food choices. Some of the staff were realm friendly but some others are quite grumpy.

cleaning of the rooms
good value, we like to come back…. but this time the quality of cleaning of the room was decreasing. the maids did not do their job properly, we did not get clean towels… beds were made just as if children did that…. the day before departure day they did not even bother to come….. this was a huge disappointment in otherwise very perfect hotel….. maybe just understaffed but they can do better

Room’s lock was not child proof, our 2 years old was able to open and go out.

Checked in on Tuesday and got told that there are no wellness offerings (massage and similar) available until Friday because they were booked out. Around half of the arcade games were out of order.

Old fashioned,the whole place needs a komplete renovation,overpriced,workers around were very loud as we where in the pool,posibilities for children limited,carpet stained everywhere,bathroom smelly and the air extraction not working,AC very smelly and loud as it where rarely cleaned!And the same day it took place of a comunication conference with lots of loud peolpe and they where partying until 3a.m! OVERPRICED
Food was ok and staff friendly,parking is free!

Poor internet in the apartment.
Although the hotel is huge, we did not feel uncomfortable with it. You have all needed activities near you. Big variety of swimming pools, water tubes, saunas, spa all was great, clean and comfortable. Rooms are really big with all facilities, a lot towels were provided. Additionally would like to mention food in hotel - it was really good. The variety of cooked food for breakfast and dinner will definitely meet any of your expectations. Location is good too. Close to caves and mill lake

The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tapolca. Wonderful selection of tasty food at both breakfast and dinner. Relaxing wellness facilities, absolutely chilled environment which hugely contributed to our experience to switch off and enjoy peace and quiet. Perfect location and wide range of programs for day outs to discover the region near Lake Balaton. Fantastic wineries, award winning wine tastings programs. If you have the chance please visit LAPOS Birtok which is about 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Stunning panoramic restaurant with great gastronomic experiences. A lot to discover around this area, please research :) Overall 5 star. We`ll definitely return.
