The location was excellent, central and perfect for popping back to freshen up etc! Very clean, very comfortable and stylish. The staff were extremely attentive, accommodating our late check in and even left a birthday treat for my partner, which was very lovely!

What was bad: HORRIBLE lighting to do makeup at the mirror. It's the main reason why I can't give this place top excellent marks. I tried to jerry-rig a solution by bringing the desk lamp over to the sink area to provide more lighting, but that really didn't help, it just created even more weird shadows that made makeup application almost impossible. It was really bad. If you're someone who doesn't wear makeup, then this won't matter to you, but for me, it was a HUGE flaw in the design of the room. The property could just invest a small amount into some good lighting, OR a light-up makeup mirror in the room.

Things that were great: location, size of room, cleanliness, kindness of staff. I'm a tour director/cruise director on European river cruises. (I've been to Budapest MANY times during my 10 years on the Danube River.) I was between tours, and needed a convenient place to stay close to the official tour hotel I needed to move into after my stay at the Loft. I chose this hotel due to its location, close to my tour hotel. That being said, if you are new to visiting Budapest, this is a GREAT location - it's just off of Vaci Utca, which is the primary pedestrian shopping street. You're also close to all the great restaurants on Oktober 6 Street, and Sas Street. You can easily walk to the Danube, visit the Basilika, the Dohany Synagogue, the famous Covered Market - it's all conveniently located within walking distance to Loft Budapest.

Although the bed sheets were very clean and the surfaces were clean, there were stains on the decoration pillows, soap dried on the shower glass, and a sticky drink spilled next to the side of the bed. Maybe a little more than a surface cleaning in the rooms would be better.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was brilliant! The room was of good size and well equipped.

Staff forgot to confirm an airport taxi booking which left my older parents a bit 'anxious'. though it all worked out. There was no television at all for late evenings or early morning news or anything. The final day we were there the internet went down which was a real bummer and no one on side to reboot the router :( This said, all else was so wonderful it's hard to be that upset!

Excellent location in heart of tourist area. Clean and beautiful decor (industrial, trendy vibe). Mostly quiet in evenings. Easy access to property. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Just great I was on a little Europe trip when I stopped by so I had multiple nights of airbnbs and bookings and this place for sure was the best of them on all fronts. The nicest, the most central, the easiest process of going in and out of the building and it’s one of the cheapest. At least at my time. They’ve really thought it through thanks a lot!

The main entrance to the building (shared with others flats) is a bit old and shabby, and so is the elevator. But once you get to the Loft (level 1/2), it looks gorgeous.

Got confused on my first day, make sure to have your door code on you or memorized, you might accidentally get locked out. Also, this is more of a personal preference, but if you need anything done, like change of sheets or towels, you need to state it clearly.

The pillows were very thin.. The walls felt pretty thin as well as we could hear the neighbours. The room was a bit dusty in some places, also the kettle still had old water in it.

Location was excellent, close to everything. Everything was on a walking distance, and also close to the bus and metro. Beautiful room. Got access to the room earlier, which was nice. Good price for the room.
