“The Kalong Trikora is a charming resort. Clean, neatly decorated and with a bathroom in the open air. It boasts a lush, green and well kept garden and a lovely swimming pool with a view of the sea. There’s a small beach and a long jetty that extends out into the water. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the cuisine is absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed everything from satay, rendang, curry to grilled octopus fresh off the barbecue. Even breakfast was a delight with fresh fruits, scrambled eggs, pandan pancakes and nasi goreng. We had a wonderful time here and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! Especially those who want to escape mass tourism.”
