The location is great and only within 5-10 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go. The host was superb and really helpful with everything that we needed and provided great information and even helped us with booking the kecak dance at uluwatu temple. Very good stay.

When we first arrived to Bali, the host had amazing communication from the very beginning, even arranging for airport pickup! After that the staff were so friendly and were very helpful. The location is also great with many Gojek and grab drivers around and the location is near main areas. Amenities was also very clean!

The accomodation was very cozy and clean, with an amazing view of the ocean. Located on a hill, it offered peace and quiet — perfect for relaxing. There is also access to a pool right in front of the cabin, which was a great bonus. The owner was very kind and welcoming.

It’s a bit far to walk to restaurants but if you have a scooter it’s not a problem.

My room was clean and comfortable. The sunset view from the pool is great and there is plenty of parking for scooters. Ancala is situated in a quiet and peaceful part of Uluwatu.

Clean room with practical furnishings. Nice pool. Very nice location up in the hill amongst the trees - cooler than lower down, also quieter away from the shops and main roads. There are a couple of excellent restaurants just down the hill (Loca and Warung TG). Perfect if you have a scooter and want a quieter retreat.

If you have remote work like I do, WiFi connection is not good enough. It can work perfectly well and one minute (usually the most crucial one) the WiFi is off. And the cell signal is weak for mobile hot spot. There are plenty of places around with WiFi but sometimes you want to be at your quiet place. Also no cafe or restaurant at the place. But there is a kitchen with all kitchen ware, fridge and water cooler. No problem at all if you have scooter, but walking is a little complicated since there are no pedestrian walks. Small room. Only 3 plugs in the number and far away from the bed.

Location if you have a scooter, most comfortable bed ever, good swimming pool, very quiet and good people around. For me room was perfectly decorated and I truly enjoyed being there. Good water pressure. Good ac in room 3.

Towels had stains and we had a little weird smell in our room. There were lots of ants coming to our room when we accidentally left some snacks there.

The rooms are kind of small but the rest was very good: the location, the outside area, the people working there. We really enjoyed staying at Ancala and would stay there every time we go to Uluwatu

Since there’s a lot of nature in the surroundings, there are few insects in the room like ants and centipedes. The room was very clean, but it cannot be helped. Also, my bathroom door handle broke, which was caused by the jammer door. I did not have time to inform reception, I hope they fixed it by now.

Great location, tranquil environment and by scooter many activities and places are close by including the amazing Uluwatu beaches like Dreamland. Also, amazing service from the staff, they lend me their personal iPhone charger as I forgot my own for the night.

Not much just that toilet a bit small.

We stayed for 1 night and it was good overall. Location nearby Uluwatu temple, like 5mins by scooter. Easy access to get a grab car as well.

The rooms are small. Bathroom is very small and the shower is next to the toilet.

The views were really good. You can watch the sunset from the pool and gardens. The staff members were very friendly. We walked 35 minutes in the morning for breakfast. That might not be for everyone as it is uphill to get back. The accommodation is in a quiet spot away from busy roads. If we wanted new towels we only had to ask.

We got a power outage in the middle of the nice. It quickly becomes difficult to sleep. This kind of problem can happen but the fact that no staff was on site did not make things easier.

Only thing would be it is quite a far walk from the main restaurant and tourist area but if you have a motorbike or can order a Grab/Gojek, you’ll be ok.

The property is a little out of the main tourist place so it was nice and quiet. The pool was such a nice temperature and you could see gorgeous sunsets from there at night across the ocean. The room and bed were comfortable. Shower and toilet were in the same area but we were fine with that. Staff were super friendly and helped us with anything we asked for and there are some super cute animals on the property. The accommodation is also very close to Uluwatu Temple which is nice for a quick trip to see the sunset.

The toilet smelt quite a lot which was not great. The WiFi cut out one night and the power cut out the other night but it came back on within a minute so it was completely fine

The pool was really nice. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. There is a really lovely warung called Loca in walking distance and there are lots of Grabs in the area so it’s not too bad to get around.

Very quiet and relaxing place with nice pool and view. Good to have a scouter, but Uluwatu temple and Uluwatu beach and Thomas beach can be reached even by foot although the roads are not suitable for pedestrians.

Our room was missing certain essentials, like a bath towel and the shower barely worked. It would also be great if the accommodation served food, as this was hard to find in the area.

This accommodation is in a beautiful location and the staff were nice, just not very professional when it came to meeting our needs as guests!
