Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Signs of mold in the bathroom, the floor drain wasn’t clean.

There is nothing we did not like.
The resort is beautiful with its traditional style in architecture and its waters. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The grounds are all well taken care of and it’s a very family friendly hotel. The kids loved it!!!There were many activities for them to do which included a movie on a big screen outside at night while parents can enjoy the beach club/ live music. Many different options to eat throughout the day and evening with a variety of different menus and styles. We loved Japanese restaurant! As we stayed at this property two times during our travels we had two different rooms. One room felt a bit more comfortable as it had a bath, we got an extra bed instead of a sofa bed which suited our family better and the overall condition of the room was slightly better. Rooms in general are not brand new but it’s also part of the charm of the hotel.

Wifi was ok but i struggled to upload instagram stories and it was also not available everywhere in the hotel - for example i would try and book a taxi upon leaving our room and walking to reception but this was not possible and i had to wait until i got to the lobby. Not a huge issue - but a bit of a pain as i could also get no reception on my holafly sim anywhere in Nusa Dua.
The breakfast selection was excellent and delicious, staff were always on hand to take any used plates etc. Staff in general was amazing! Every single person i passed in corridors, reception, pool etc said hello and were always ready to help. The service was second to none. Beach was beautifully maintained with clean sand and pretty clear water. Lots of beds available on the beach and by the pool. Rooms were stunning and well stocked with toiletries which the kids loved as they hated the toothpaste i had packed. Bottled water replenished everyday and a fruit plate on arrival. We had attached rooms as are a family of 5 (kids 11, 13, 14yrs). The rooms were accessible from an internal door which allowed us privacy but also felt safe. So many clubs and groups had been organised and pool scooters available for additional rent which my kids loved and i thought was very reasonably priced. We didnt have much time in the hotel so didnt do the activities but i wish we had longer for this - to name but a few - star gazing, walking groups, pool basketball, aqua aerobics. Also loads of games around the pool and beach area like chess, ludo, target throwing, darts, giant jenga and american pool.

Breakfast was really good with such a variety. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed relaxing at the pool and beach area , meals and drinks were good. Overall excellent resort and I will definitely go back.

Location is a bit isolated to tourist only zone so harder to go to other places for dinner etc. A bit shallow for surfing. Shower temperature very difficult to regulate

The shower could be a bit hit and miss as to temperature but it is not bad enough to put me off staying again.
The staff were very friendly. The location was great too being right on a lovely beach.. Staying in the Palace was a great idea as it was a little quieter. The bed was very firm but very comfortable. This place is a little more authentic than some of the other resorts.

The rooms are quite dated and the general maintenance overall could be better.
The resort is big and grand, with a kind of old world charm. Lots of different options and activities to suit all ages and types. I liked that you could find many corners and spaces to just chill and relax

Rooms a little dated but the staff and resort make up for this. Food pricey I felt as we not on the all inclusive deal.
The staff are amazing! Location great for a family chill post craziness of the rest of the island. Beach great, pools fab- breakfasts appreciated.

They had a photo shoot session included in our package but we couldn't get it. Simple reason.....they have 534 rooms for which they have employed a company who has hired only 3 photographers.we were thr for 3 nights still couldn't get the appointment. Similarly only 20 cycles were there for such a big accommodation.

Some facilities need some maintanance. The lift that brought us to our room has, and I am not exaggerating, put us ina dangerous situations throughout the stay. unfortunately, we couldn’t take the stairs with the stroller.
All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We came with our 3 year old and Sastra from the kids club was extraordinary with her, for the second time now, as we stayed at the resort before! Big shout out to Sastra. We also felt the care from all of the people working around the pool and beach area. The staff can’t be complimented enough!
