City View room means a room facing away from the pool as above, but facing the street. The live music in the bars on the street doesn't finish till about midnight, and I was woken about 6am by the sound of the traffic below getting going. Take your ear plugs if you're not a deep sleeper

Friendly helpful staff. Good sized rooms with all amenities, although the shower was a bit small and it wasn't possible to close the door on it (unless you are very small and thin). The pool is a great feature, but on the day I was there half the people with pool facing rooms appeared to be having an impromptu pool party- plenty of beefy boys wading around holding beers etc, which may or may not be your scene.

Pool was a little too cold

The staff were absolutely amazing. They were so attentive to everyone's needs. They played with the kids and brought them little chocolate wafers every time they saw our kids. They knew our names by day one and would ask us how our day was going every single day. The rooms were nice and clean and the interconnecting room was perfect. The location itself is great, walking distance to everything you need. The breakfast was good for the price you pay. The only downfall was the pool was pretty cold but that would not stop us from staying there again. All in all it is a great hotel.

Probably a bit of an up grade wouldn't hurt.

Staff are amazing people, nothing was to much for them. Food and drinks fantastic. Close to everything but still far enough away too.

We were in a front street room and there was outside noise late at night and early morning which was to be expected staying in such a central location. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony early morning watching the street wakeup ! If we were staying longer next time I would probably request a back room away from the street.

Room was great - appreciated the daily bottled water. Loved the pool area and the happy hour cocktails. Excellent breakfast with variety each day and great customer service - would definitely recommend and stay again.

Wi fi not the best - had to keep trying to re connect which became a bit tiresome.

I liked the room location and was very impressed with housekeeping staff, especially the young man with the enormous, open and broad smile who appeared to be the main housekeeper for my room - such a well mannered and courteous young man - he will go far - thank you for being such a pleasant and accommodating member of staff.

The towels are in desperate need of replacing. They are very thin and grey.

Staff are friendly, and the location is perfect for a solo traveller who may be concerned about walking around alone. Breakfast is quite good & the hotel is clean and in good order. There is an excellent laundry across the road, a good money changer on site, as well as massage places, restaurants, and mini marts within metres of the door.

Very few vegetarian and vegan options - breakfast under par - small cakes and croissants stale and unpalatable. Breakfast consisted of two fruits every morning pineapple and watermelon - (fruit never varied from those 2 and paw paw) attempted small cakes however were hard and appeared to be weeks old.

It’s located very central so the street is very busy and in turn noisy - all day AND night. I had a “city view” which was on the busy street.

Fantastic friendly staff, clean property, restaurant food is excellent - good variety, breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of people came from other hotels for Gran La Walon’s breakfast - the restaurant was busy but service and quality remained excellent. Close to everything, Circle K just across the street, money changers, laundry, 10 minute walk to the beach, Zen day spa great for massages (highly recommend), Leanne Beauty great for beauty - eyelash extensions, ear candle, manicure, pedicure, braids (highly recommend)

Our hot water went out during our stay - we mentioned to reception which they were responsive on getting someone to fix. The hot water wasnt a problem as a cool shower was refreshing because it was so hot.

The amenities were good and the restaurant was great food and good value for money - cheaper than on the streets generally. It was nice to have a balcony and we thought it was a lot quieter than we expected. Super handy having a circle k across the road also for bits and bobs. Easy walk to Kuta beach and the air conditioning was good. The location was great - close to lots of shops and so many massage places.
