The pool is a bit small, but it’s not really an issue. Arriving on foot felt a bit farther than expected, but it’s still within a walkable distance.

The most memorable thing for me is that you not only provide high-quality accommodation and exceptionally friendly service but also offer a range of problem-solving assistance. I know many travelers, including us, encounter various issues, such as renting bikes, finding snorkeling tours, or the inconvenience of being wet after snorkeling and unable to travel comfortably. Yet, the staffs were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help (especially by providing a room for us to shower and change even after we had checked out). I know we were quite troublesome, but they never made us feel like a burden, which is truly commendable!

The only negative was the nearby mosque call which woke us up some mornings. This is not a criticism of the villas, just be aware, you may be awoken by the morning prayers as early as 5am.

The staff went above & beyond to suit our needs - they were so friendly. Arranging free bikes for us, asking about our day & providing us with drinks/food - we really didn’t lift a finger. The breakfast was plentiful, arriving to the minute we asked and the dishes we ordered. The bathroom was extremely good with a double walk in shower.

The horses on the island didn't look healthy, we chose not to use them. We recommend that others not use them either. We traveled to gili air by private boat arranged by the hotel. We couldn’t use the horses to carry our bags because they just didn’t look healthy. So it was nice that the hotel helped carry our bags to the port using bicycles. Nothing to complain in the hotel/room (except maybe the bed mattress wasn't the best but it didnt’t matter that much). We wouldn’t have liked to stay in a room close to the pool though because we love private villas with private pool. But that is our preference. We came to Gili Trawangan only because of the hotel. We didn't like the island itself that much (party vibes and so one), but we already knew that in advance. We liked gili air island more.

We stayed in the honeymoon villa for three nights and we loved it so much. The privacy and everything was perfect (in the villa, NOT in the island). Loved it sooo much. It was the best villa/hotel we had in our long trip (1 month) to Bali/Gili islands. The staff was so nice, the breakfast was very good, the decor of the room was beautiful, the private pool was so nice. Everything was just perfect in the honeymoon villa. We had bad hotel experiences during our trip, but this was definitely not one of them. The place was very clean for example and there were no signs of mold.

This Is a small hotel and this is exactly what we wanted. Location was great if like us you didn't want beachfront (It was close to everything we needed) and staff was wonderful. The private pool was exactly what the kids wanted when we were not on the beach swimming with the turtles.

Having to leave!!!

This is the place to stay if you want to be able to relax completely! Gili T is a fun, busy island and offers many different kinds of accommodation. For us, we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle and also wanted the intimacy of a smaller, more private residence. Where do I start? The staff are hands down the most attentive, kind, and friendliest people on earth whilst also being so professional, a huge thankyou to all the staff that made our stay so relaxing, enjoyable, so comfortable and so memorable (we didn't want to leave). The layout of the property was excellent. The more privacy you want, the further back into the villa area you go. The rooms are cleaned twice a day, and the pools cleaned every few days. Everything is spotlessly presented and prepared for you when you arrive back to your villa on a daily basis. I absolutely loved the gentle sounds of horses neighing throughout the day and the abundance of dragonflies and butterflies dancing through the grounds. Kaleydo only does breakfast, has quite a comprehensive menu, and they cater to specific dietary needs. I love this because it supports their mission in being a sustainable property, minimising waste, and supporting the local warungs/ restaurants on the island by encouraging you to go out and enjoy the different foods on offer. Kaleydo Villas was everything and more that we wanted in our stay on Gili T and will definitely be our residence of choice upon our return.
