Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing major at all! The room was weirdly dark with poor lighting so even in the brightest part of the day, quite dim inside. WiFi coverage is excellent but WiFi it’s self is pretty slow - ok for messaging but if you need more for work etc, it wouldn’t be good enough. It’s a little pricey but you are paying for somewhere lovely in a fairly pricey part of Bali. Nothing to do with the hotel but Kuta town itself is pretty grim - it’s massively over-touristed. The beach is a line of bars and shops and no beach at all at high tide that hasn’t been turned into a bar. The town is rammed with Aussie tourists, some of whom ride round on loud mobile beer bars shouting and singing all day and night. There are endless shops and a lot of hassle to buy things / take a taxi etc. There is very little of authentic, beautiful Bali left in Kuta. If that’s your thing, great - you’ll love it. If not, be sure you know what the place is like. Other beach & inland parts of Bali are much more beautiful and far less spoiled by mass tourism!
An absolute oasis in the centre of a busy town. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well looked after, the pool area with two pools and a small swim up bar are excellent and you can order food / drinks throughout the day. I had a delicious room and it’s its own small bungalow with a huge room, extra kind of dressing area and a large partly outdoor bathroom and enclosed garden area. In the property and pool, it’s quiet & peaceful and absolutely lovely.

AustraliaI booked through Booking.com and all the pictures showed a nice King/Queen size bed. Also no mention the room would be upstairs. What we got was two upstairs rooms with two separate beds. My mum ended up having to pay to upgrade her room to a bungalow so she didn't have to navigate (fairly steep) stairs that don't have a proper handrail (there is the balustrade to stop you falling to the side but it has tiles on top which were slippery enough when dry and even worse when it rained). The staff did put our two singles together and make it into a large bed, but, as always happens when this is done, there was a weird bump and drop in between. I was told by staff at the reception desk that I needed to specifically request ground floor if I didn't want the rooms upstairs (didn't know there were rooms upstairs) and I needed to request a large bed if I didn't want the twin set up, although this was also not clear on Booking.com. As a coeliac, breakfast options were very limited, but there's lots of good, cheap warung around so this wasn't much of an issue.
The location is great - close to the beach, great food and massage. I also like the rooms are set within grounds so there is a peaceful feeling to the place, even though it is quite central. The pool is well equipped and has a swim up bar. Hot water in the rooms is nice and hot (I have experienced some very tepid "hot" water in parts of Indonesia) but does take a while to come through.

United KingdomBe good to invest in having a small gym at the hotel. Our rooms were located quite close to the hotel restaurant and so it was a little noisy at times - esp when people started working @5am. It didn’t impact us enough to mention to the hotel and we were only there for 2 nights. If we’d stayed longer, we would have asked to move rooms.
Lovely hotel situated a short walk away from the Beach, bars, restaurants and shops. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of sun loungers, great pool, pool bar and towel exchange were all good.
