The staff, villa & backyard were all absolutely amazing. We had the best time staying here. Its about a 10 minute walk to get to the main area, but they offer free pick up and drop off from there with their bikes. Highly recommend. You don’t really need to leave. They have a spa, restarant and 24 hour room service.

The road and lack of variety in food

A beautiful resort in the middle of nature and close to the old market and the center of the Ubud area. The staff are cooperative, but the way to it must be on foot or on a two-wheeled bicycle, and there are natural insects because it is in the middle of fields and nature.

Everything was wonderful, the rooms, the view, the breakfast, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The staff also gave rides to and from Ubud town on motorbikes whenever needed ( small path no cars). This was so much fun.

We had a snake in our room that got into the living room through the open bathroom. The staff sorted everything out quickly and caught the snake. It was a common rice snake, not dangerous. They said it was an isolated incident.

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet location in Ubud, just minutes from the bustling centre, with a private pool overlooking the rice fields. Staff very friendly, choice of several types of breakfast, an oasis of peace and relaxation.

My stay at Hotel Lasamana was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I could feel the attention to detail and warm hospitality. The room was spotless, beautifully scented, and tastefully decorated – the perfect place to unwind after a long day. The hotel staff deserves special praise – they were kind, professional, and always ready to help. I genuinely felt that they cared about my comfort. Every request I made was met with a smile and great care. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and thoughtfully prepared. It was the perfect distance from ubud. Although you can’t drive all the way to the property, the staff has a free scooter service that runs 24/7 if needed to get to town. Also, the walk is very pretty and easy. The staff was so kind and the rooms were clean and beautiful. They also were so helpful to help us arrange tours/ floating breakfast. Also, the food was good with plenty of western/indonesian options.

There’s nothing we didn’t like, but it’s worth being aware that access to the villa from the main road isn’t ideal if you have large suitcases. We’re travelling for 6 weeks with two cases, but the staff met us at the road with scooters, including one with a trailer for the luggage. We already knew about this, and the whole process was seamless.

The villa was absolutely lovely with its own private pool and a peaceful atmosphere. Each morning we sat and watched the rice fields being worked—such a calming and authentic experience. It’s only a 5–7 minute walk from the busy centre of Ubud, but once you’re back at the villa, it feels like another world. The staff were wonderful—so friendly and helpful—and breakfast was very good each day.

Breakfast definitely has to be improved. Food had no taste Villa is not accessible by car, so you would have to take a scooter ride offered by the hotel each time you want to leave and don’t want to walk (about 10-15 min walk to Ubud central parking and then depends on where you go). This was also not mentioned prior to booking

A beautiful stay in the rice fields of Ubud. Staff go above and beyond to keep their guests comfortable & happy. Will gladly pick you up and drop you off the short distance to Ubud city centre, any time of day (we were picked up at 1am after a later arrival!) Nothing was too much trouble and the restaurant on site was delicious!

Can’t think of anything.

It is super relax, 10min walking away from the city buzz of Ubud. You can also take a scooter (taxi) but we preferred to walk. We had a private pool which was sooo nice. The room very clean, nice outdoor bathroom. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and seating area. My mom was completely fan of the nasi goring. We would definitely book here again!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Best place we have ever stayed. Me and my girlfriend have been on many holidays and we were nervous about accommodation in ubud as some were hit and miss. I can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed at and if you’re unsure about where to stay I wouldn’t even look anywhere else. Just choose here you won’t be disappointed. Staff were amazing, breakfast was amazing, rooms were cleaned daily and got the best nights sleep to get over the jet lag. Cannot recommend Lasamana Villas enough.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and special. Nothing was too much of a problem. So close to the centre of town but so quiet at the villa. Room service and restaurant were so cheap and amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. Arta and his staff were fantastic, thanks for having us!

Total nitpicking here, but a moderate smell of something like mothballs in the room, unsure whether this is a cleaning product or insect repellent? Can still smell on our clothes even now we are home! Would be great to have a water dispenser on-site for refilling bottles :)

Great location. Set in an area of rice paddies and other guesthouses so lovely and quiet, but only 10 mins on foot to central Ubud. Beautiful little studio villa with a private outdoor space and small pool. Clean and comfortable with huge comfy bed. At night it feels like you’re in the middle of the forest with lots of insect and frog noises - we had the best nights sleep here 🥰The staff are all lovely, nothing is too much trouble. Booked with 60% discount so felt an absolute bargain. Be aware the property is foot and bike access only. The staff are always available to transport you and also baggage; they even very kindly did it for us at 5.30 the day we left! We loved that it felt a bit out of the way even though so central, but might not suit everyone.

Our stay at Lasamana Villas was fabulous from start to finish. It is located 1km from the centre of Ubud up in the rice fields, away from the hustle and bustle. Our villa was exceptionally well appointed with a private pool and views of water lily’s and the rice fields. The accommodation has its own little restaurant and the food was great. Breakfasts were excellent. The best part though are how wonderful the staff are. They look after you so well, from takings us up and down to the village on their bikes to adjust our food to taste. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Lasamana.
