Not so much didn't like but I feel that the staff could maybe be a bit more 'first class' like I've seen in my trip in bali so far. It just makes the trip more special. The staff were always having a laugh and joke with each other so don't think it's a shyness or personality thing .. it just would be nice as when walking past to get a smile or a greeting. This doesn't apply to the female staff member who was really amazing and chatty. Everything else 10/10. I feel that this improvement could really escalate this place.

This place is perfect for a quiet chilled getaway, always somewhere to sit never fighting over a sunbed. The food is unbelievable and was the highlight for us.

Nothing, it was perfect

The location is perfect, every time we swam we saw turtles. Beach front has plenty of shade and you can have breakfast looking at the sea. There are loads of sun beds and the staff are very attentive. Movie on beach every other night, and it’s a wonderful place to watch the sunset. We had young adults with us and there was some music and a bit of nightlife a few resorts down. We ate somewhere different every day and were never disappointed, from the Warungs selling fresh fish to pizza at beach front restaurants. The menu at Le Pirate is really good too, this place is incredible value for money, we had absolutely nothing we would change. A truly memorable stay, we extended to 5 days as we didn’t want to leave!

The room was very small for the amount of money being charged. We could barely fit between the end of the double bed and the wall and we're both pencil thin. It was difficult to store our dive gear in such cramped conditions so we ended up keeping it in the outside bathroom area. For the amount of money being charged (nearly $300 for three nights), I would expect a bit more space than that.

Liked the cleanliness, the layout of the bungalows, the friendly staff (who sometimes didn't know much about dive locations which we were there for), the bamboo fence enclosed outdoor bathroom facilities (watch out for mosquitoes!), the workout zone across the road and the general convenience of the place to our dive sites.

The resort was right beside the beach and easy to get to by taxi boat. The food in the restaurant was gorgeous - there was nothing we didn’t like on the menu and the service was excellent!

The rooms are very small, you will need to open your luggage on the balcony but otherwise no complaints.

Beautiful location, great food, great staff. Right on the beach, you snorkel right outside the hotel and will see plenty of sea turtles. The statues are a few minutes walk away. Ideal location!

The friendliest staff. Really nice pool, clean cabins, nice food. Really cheap for what you get. Saw multiple turtles on the beach at the hotel. Would deffo recommend if you’re looking for a quiet chilled getaway :)

The rooms are teeny, but you're only sleeping in there, so no biggie. The steps to get into the rooms are a bit sketchy! They're quite steep and there's no handrails. I wouldn't recommend Le Pirate if you're bad on your feet. Even after a few Bintangs I had to tread carefully.

Perfect location and a really bright atmosphere. The staff are great, couldn't fault them really. I only had brekky at the resort, but that was great and well priced. There's ocean views from the pool, that's a bonus.

There are some garbage at the beach,but this is unfortunately everywhere on the Island...it s a pity,and i wish,it will change!!

First of all,the staff...many thanks to Damar,Iah,Rodi,Regi,Satria and Aini (sorry,if i forgot someone!)..they are all super friendly, helpful,i felt like home!! The hotel is very clean and beautiful,a small paradise... Location perfect,near underwater statues and very beautiful sunsets... Not forget the turtles,they swimm everywhere in front of the hotel! Food quality was excellent!!

The beach could be maintained better. We have seen it getting cleaned in the morning but it's not enough given that the see continuously brought algae and plastic on shore when windy

First of all I need to mention the great staff this place has. Everyone was nice, polite and helpfull and always with a smile. We also enjoyed the movie night and the setup they have on the beach. The cocktails are actually pretty good and the food is also good especially the breakfast, we really enjoyed the english breakfast and the smoothie bowl. The room is small but it's enough given that you are at the beach so most of the time you are outside. The outside bathroom is also a nice touch. We also got a private snorkling tour from them with a guide, the tour was awsome as we saw many turtles, colorfull fish and the statues. I recommend taking the tour early at 7:30 to avoid crowded waters. You can also just swim in front of the hotel beach and you will see some turtles.

What a lovely and affordable stay in paradise. The staff is outstanding and Ainni took care of every detail. The places are cute, clean and have nice lounging spaces. But the real treat is the beach and turtles! You can snorkel with turtles right from the beach! You can also snorkel to ‘The Statues’ that were placed by the modern (and expensive) hotel next door. I was both to Gili Air and Gili Meno and this property was my favorite!

You can’t easily access the sea due to the huge amount of corals, which make it impossible to access without sea shoes. There is some noise during the night from the clubs in Gili Trawangan. Food is good, but limited options both for the breakfast and lunch and dinner.

Nice location, cleanliness was second to none, cottages were really nice and with a pleasant outdoor space. Great pools and plenty of space for all guests. Nice cocktails.

None of these points would prevent me from coming again, but a few notes for future guests - the WiFi was poor despite there being lots of hubs. Most of the time, I had to rely on my eSIM’s data to stream content, load apps or even google maps - the prices were higher than some other restaurants and bars on the island, but it’s a posh hotel so what d’you expect! - there’s no mini fridge in the room, and the bin is in the bathroom- a very minor inconvenience!

I have nothing bad to say about this stay. I was comfortable, blown away by the beautiful grounds, well looked after by attentive staff, cosy in my room, hidden and private in the outside bathroom and well-sunned on the ample seating and lounge beds around the pool area.

Outside showers and toilets made for an interesting sunburn whilst having a shower and toilet use. I.e getting burn on areas probably not normally exposed to sunlight.

Loved the le pirate was so calm and relaxing and best spot on the gilli meno Island.

The restaurant is quit expensive and they don't offer roomservice (which isn't a big deal, but would've been helpful when you're feeling sick).

The location is great, you can see turtles in the sea right in front of the accomodation, it's quiet, they organise a bonfire or a movienight in the evening, you can book snorkeling tours and the airconditioning is great.

I stayed here for one night we my friend. The hotel is quite nice and the staff is friendly. The food was really yummy and there was a movie on the beach which was great. (I recommend to get the nachos!!)
