The bathroom was separate from our room which was quite inconvenient, and it was hard to sleep with how loud the wildlife was but that’s not the hotel’s fault! There was also construction going on next door which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere.

The jungle surrounding the property was beautiful and the staff were really lovely. And the food was nice!

The bedroom had a noticeable mouldy smell. The construction site right next to the facilities was a very bad noisy sideeffect

The food was average. Stones in the bathroom when showering was abit uncomfortable. There was abit of mould in our room due to poor ventilation.

The room was very neat and clean and the washroom too, but in our room the washroom was outside of the room although it was private, but that was quite uncomfortable for night time specially , I don't know if it was for our room only.. everything else was a decent experience

not a good location around 40 min walk into ubud through the jungle which is lovely to do but has no light so impossible to walk back after dinner etc only got a hotel next door which serves really nice food but quite expensive so are trapped with that pool is lovely alas only 2 sunbeds and one seat under cover to sit round - also no ground space to lie down there either. We ended up going to the hotel next door to use their sun loungers (had a 400k minumum spend to use) lots and lots of stairs!! not good with a suitcase as all rooms down at least one flight of stairs wouldnt be good with kids/ elderly/ immobile shower was cold and bathroom (our one at least) had an exposed outside wall so lots of bugs and gets rained on

Not suitable for family with old parents or disabled as the property have steep stairs, which is difficult to access. We were assigned a room like shop with glass door facing the road, which was difficult to close and didn't felt safe. Also open balcony & washroom with just curtains, which was not safe for family. Also property didn't complete the development, which was unappealing.

Swimming pool was good. Staff was supportive. Food is available in request. Payment possible with credit card.

The bed was hard, and I had the feeling that it barely supported my weight of 77kg when I laid down on it or moved in it. The bedding didn't seem to be clean.

The staff did everything to fix the Wifi directly after I told them. Successfully. The location is in the centre of Ubud. It was realtively cheap. Working air-conditioning.

Bathroom was very poor and in need of refurbishment... Pool was too deep for a child.. lovely view though,ideal for a couple.

Bedroom was very large and the bed extremely comfortable. Two local eateries within 100m of property really nice..

The room was behind some kind of water tank, the only way to go to the room were going thru a dark unpaved walkway. Felt like we were placed outside the hotel complex.

There were lots of stares which is okay if you only have one suitcase but we had lots of bags so was a bit of a struggle . Also pretty sure one guest got food poisoning from the chicken sandwich and was severely I’ll for 24hours . We also rented two motorbikes which we were told 100k a day but we were charged extra for one that we only knew about at the end as they didn’t tell us it was a new bike … else we wouldn’t of taken it . Other then these few things it was a lovely stay

The staff were all lovely and helpful, they cleaned the room everyday. Our room had air come and a fan which was such a relief , the pool was lovely and had an amazing view. They also rented motorbikes from the hotel and they were close to a lot of attractions

I don't like the toilet, it's separated from our bedroom (outside of the bedroom, in the hallway) with a window facing the main street. One day on a rainy day. I was sitting on the toilet and a man was standing just outside my window... it was an embarrassing moment. I came as a family, and my daughter with her partner had a room with a glass door right next to main street like it was built for a shop. Despite all of that, the swimming is very nice and the view is beautiful.

Room booked had a concrete wall view NOT a "courtyard". The steps are dangerous and not for elderly, families or persons with mobility issues. The pool is not filtered, they just use loads of chlorine. Construction happening.. too many rooms, too greedy.

We stayed in the budget room. The walls were too thin. You can here everything from the room next to you. There is not so much place to sit outside accept your own balcony.

The location is very good and quiet. The staff is very polite and attending quickly to all the needs. The rooms were clean.

I realize it is located in the jungle but it could use a deep clean. I wish there was netting around the bed as I was awakened a few times to bugs. The pool smelled strongly of chemical but had a green tinge to the water and I hadn't notice anyone else use it so I avoided it.

Is an amazing location with a fantastic view. The customer service was amazing. Even though my neighbor had issues with their door, they came and replaced the lock right away with a new one. Everything I needed, including a ride, was easy to get by just messaging them.

When we arrived to Made Punia's Jungle unfortunately although we booked for 3 people the room was only set for two. we asked them to get a bed for our 8 year old daughter set up as we had requested on the booking and they wanted to charge us extra. I use booking.com for all my bookings and I do know of some places that charge extra for extra beds but there was no notification of this regard for this particular stay. They said they would organise a bed then came back and said they didn't have one. The (daughter) of Made Punia told us we should cancel our booking and find somewhere else to stay. We obviously wanted to stay here and didn't want the inconvenience of moving so I was absolutely beside myself to hear this. she spent about the next 30 mins arguing with us about the bed and not handling the situation with maturity. because of this experience on arrival this tainted our whole stay and we mainly just stayed for the evening to go to sleep and never ate at the accomodation, always out as our trust was broken. When I checked out the Daughter wouldn't even take the key from me as I said thankyou when I was leaving she hid behind another staff member. It seems she needs to get some further training on how to deal with customers and she needs to learn that people when they arrive for their holiday that they don't want to be told to cancel their room. Very dissapointing and not something I would expect on holiday and not something I ever have experienced in all of my travels. it's a shame I have to write this as apart from this our stay was as expected and I would personally stay again due to every other experience and interaction we had. email the property your booking details to confirm before your stay and things should be ok.

I loved the Jungle View room, the bed was comfy, there was minimal mosquito's which was nice considering we stayed in the room with the open window , the pool was also very inviting and relaxing. they maintain the property with pride and you can see that things are well kept and clean, the hotel is not too far to walk to central Ubud as it a little way further down from the end of the Ridge walk (can walk from Made Punia's jungle to Ubud city centre in 15-20 mins and 30 if going slower) Head towards the ridge walk and you will also come across some options for restaurants and some shopping and art gallery's. it was about 10 mins by car transfer to get to Ubud. I found the family mostly nice and well prepared for guests, though one staff member was not very welcoming at the beginning of our stay which I will explain in my next comment. It was very easy to get around and the family has their own tour desk and transport services so this made thigs very easy to get around. their prices were fair but not the cheapest i've ever come across. props to the family for knowing how to hustle.

It was a little bit awkward not having a roof on the shower especially when it rained 🤣

The location of Made Punias jungle is perfect, it’s at the end of a ridge walk so there is heaps of cute cafes and warungs scattered along the road but it’s not too busy. The mango smoothie bowl was also realllyyyyy good.
