AustraliaThe beds were very uncomfortable, kettle provided in the room had a different plug fitting to the actual country we are in? So could not use it. And the room itself could have been a bit cleaner.
The view was absolutely stunning. The pools were stunning and the restaurant was amazing.

New ZealandNot a negative but more of a suggestion that their could be a better shuttle service, running more frequently. The gardens are spectacular, but the lower levels below the pool down the steps are unkempt. Going down and up the 700 odd steps that take you right down to the river is great cardio. Some of the tiles on the steps are loose so obvs take care.
Up in the hills off the beaten track and away from the hustle and bustle. A 5-night stay here was just what we needed to wind down from an intensely busy period back home, and to kick iff 5 week stay in Bali. The views are amazing especially from the infinity pool. Our room with plunge pool was very comfortable and a generous size. Loved the buffet breakfast and afternoon tea each day was a treat. We booked a couple of massages and also two shuttles into Ubud. The shuttle is a necessary service as the resort is too far from Ubud to walk.

SpainEvery morning you may find some fallen insects on a terrace couch as well as ants. It didn't bother me too much (they've been wiped away after each cleaning) and was a part of the in-depth Bali nature experience. The breakfast was a little bit spicy, almost all items were hard to eat if you are not used to the spicy food.
The overall experience was great and the hotel met our expectations. The view from the room is fantastic and the river calms and relaxes. We also liked the pool (and they have several). I will also put it as a plus, that the hotel is situated quite close to the wild nature and meeting monkey on your balcony/terrace is not a surprise :) If you mind your belongings and won't leave anything outside, you should be on a safe side. We kept our swim dress outside and they didn't seem to interest the monkeys, however I'd rather not experiment with the smartphones or jewellery. The experience was great, especially for our 8-year old son. Also, for me personally, I liked the kitchen of the restaurant.

AustraliaUnfortunately the resort is old and tired and definitely needs some major upgrade. The first room we checked into smelled damp and had mouldy ceilings and walls. The wooden furnishings were creating dust/powder substance which I suspect could be from termites??? The mould made us feel uncomfortable and unwell. Thankfully the staff were accomodating and transferred us to another room. LOCATION: it’s a little away from town and nothing really around the area not even a mini mart for essentials. The free shuttle service was handy, although requires a two hour notice to book. BREAKFAST: It’s ok. Nothing exciting. If location permitted I would much prefer to eat else where. STAFF: Very friendly but for some reason requests are often forgotten. Not sure if they are short staffed but things seem to get overlooked. They even forgot to service our room.
The pool was quite large with beautiful views.
