Great stay in beautiful Dublin area on a beautiful sunny weekend. Very enjoyable.

Bathroom had only bath with shower mounted in the wall and ceiling sloped under an angle. With my height of 185cm I could barely walk in to the bath. Also having shower in actual bath was really unusual in these times. Haven't seen that in ages. We also lacked a bathroom mat after you step out of the shower. We used couple of towels for that, but I feel that 4 star residence should have those in bathroom. Shower head was also quite lose and I was worried it might come out of the wall. Room wasn't as bright and "flooded" with light as on the picture and I feel bit of a Photoshop was employed before uploading the picture.

Ariel House is in very nice area of Dublin, Ballsbridge. Street this property is on has only Victorian style houses with mature trees along the road. House is only a stone throw from Aviva stadium and so is ideal for stay if you are attending the gig there. One of the nicest areas of the House was the common area with large couches, board games(chess, cards...), complimentary tea/coffee and honesty bar. Really comfy and relaxing. Our luxury family room was at ground floor. It was spacious enough, with big and comfy beds, smart TV, armchairs, coffee table, storage cupboard & kettle. Sight from either of the windows wasn't the most appealing as bay window was overlooking the parking area, blocked by mature bush tree. However, this was a good thing, I suppose, because if it weren't there, our privacy would suffer a lot, and everyone would see us in the room. The other, small window, was overlooking House service area. Breakfast were fulfilling and very tasty. They have a menu of about 10 breakfast dishes and then buffet on cereals, fruits, yoghurt, cheeses, pastries & chilled drinks. Overall a very good 9/10

The bed is too small for two adults, I would provide all rooms with king-size beds.

Amazing breakfast and staff, very nice Victorian house, completely renovated and close to the Lansdowne Road Station, 20-minute walk to the city center. The free coffee is a plus, as well as the breakfast choice (both at buffet and a la carte). Definitely recommended if visiting Dublin, good quality for money compared to other hotels in Dublin, free parking if you come by car.

The rooms in the extended flat roof area that protrudes into the garden are a little dated. I would guess this was built in late 70s or early 80s and the rooms themselves are a little dated, yet still clean.

The property location, kerb appeal with nice Georgian frontage, front lounge and dining are exceptional. There is an honesty bar in the front room which is a really great touch. Kudos to whoever thought of that. Lastly, the breakfast is exceptional. Never thought I'd say that but genuinely something for everyone - cooked breakfast for the Irish/English yet refined, yoghurts, fruit, granola, irsih bread of the highest quality for the continentals - and all cooked or prepared to the highest standard. Location is great, in a leafy part of south Dublin, walkable to Stephen's Green, Trinity, Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge etc. Walkable to the sea at Sandymount even, which is a lovely little walk

Our bathroom was looking very tired and needs some attention. Shower door needs replacing, floor tiles are cracked/grout missing, extractor doesn’t work and toilet flush isn’t working properly. As the house is very old the floor boards are very creaky and noisy. The people in the room above us seemed to be reenacting river dance every night and early morning. Dining area very cramped.

Lovely location, beautiful property, very nice staff. An honesty bar in the drawing room and lovely home made cakes was a nice touch. Good quality well cooked food, hats off to the kitchen staff and dining room staff.

The door knob was hard to use. I only discovered after a couple of days that I did not need to turn the doorknob in order to open the door - it was only there for show. Only need to use the key to open the door. They could have advised this on check-in.

Clean, large room, nice decor, exceptional breakfast. I would stay again.

Only think. Which didn't really affect us was no lift available, so may be a problem if you have mobility issues

What a gem of a place this is. We travelled over from the UK. To watch football at the Aviva stadium. From the moment we arrived it was fabulous. Complementary tea and coffee and home made cake in the fabulous drawing room , friendly smartly presented staff, a fantastic family room with the most comfy beds I ever slept on. The room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was superb , home made granola, freshly cooked hot food and top service. We only stayed one night but we certainly will return. Highly highly recommend

    Nothing-it was perfect

It was lovely to sit in the Drawing Room after a day of sightseeing in Dublin. My teen daughter played chess with my husband while I read. It was like staying with a friend. The breakfast in the Conservatory was the best breakfast we have ever had while traveling! The staff were helpful, and we absolutely loved our stay.
