The Rowan restaurant was fantastic. We had a beautiful evening meals there and just loved it. Friendly staff beautiful food couldn't fault it.

IrelandHad to be moved to another room because of a faulty bathroom facility that was very dangerous. New room was situated on the third floor and not as superior as our original one. I originally requested either a ground floor room or a room near the lift. Our new room was not located near the lift. The staff did volunteer to pack our things for us for our room change, but we declined graciously. This took place at around 11pm when we arrived back. The cleaner/ house keeping should have identified this problem much earlier, makes me think, was the room cleaned at all? I was not happy at all with the whole situation but didn't complain as the staff were most helpful. It took away the night's enjoyment and I would be very doubtful about returning. Needless to say, there was no refund, full or partial, voucher or gesture offered, except a verbal apology.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Swimming pool and gym was a bonus. Our original room was fab.

IrelandJust a few things for a 4 star rated hotel that needs (I think) some attention: * The carpet retention bars on the Main staircase in the foyer need to be properly secured. A safety issue which needs urgent attention. Apart from the safety issue, it's not a good 'first impression'. *The toilet roll holder in the gents toilet (off the foyer) needs replacement, it does not operate properly. The electrically operated hand blower/dryer also does not work properly either. It does not stay while drying hands (keeps going off). Both these issues need attention. Again, not a good impression. Very poor attention to detail by the facilities manager. *This last issue I bring up should NOT have happened. While my wife was eating her toast at breakfast on our last morning, she noticed the White Bread she was eating had MOULD on it. My wife did not make a big issue out of it but brought it to the attention of your breakfast staff, so they could withdraw any bread available for toasting so as not to offend any other guest having breakfast. I feel the above issues need some attention and I hope you take my concerns on board with respect. No bad feelings intended. Regards.

IrelandThe pillows were a little uncomfortable, and we had booked the 10 am breakfast sitting and on our first morning we had to wait outside the dining room as there were not tables ready. Then there was no bread when we got our table and some of the food choices had run out.
Our room was lovely everything you need including tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, very quiet and comfortable.

Good leisure centre and spa. Very comfortable room. Nice coffee dock. Very nice beer garden and leisure areas. It’s only a 10 minute stroll into Gorey, which is a great town.
