The location was ideal, very close to everything within walking distance. Very clean the place was spotless and the receptionists were polite and helpful. Late checkout was brilliant

The room was a bit cramped, the bathroom was tiny and dark. Also request to come half an hour early, as we had a concert. My request got declined on several occasions. We think twice before coming again.

Position was great, close to city centre, room was comfortable and large, breakfast good. Parking station in front of hotel for €10 per 24 hours.

Since there isn’t AC in the room the window had to bed left open which was fine but the pub below was very load and kept waking me so I had to shut it to lessen the outside noice. Thankfully I have a portable fan so I was able to have it for air. And the elevator was out so carrying luggage up and down stairs with a bad back was a bit of a task.

The property was well maintained, the bed was comfortable and the decor was very pretty. It n was located within walking distance of the castle and Shannon riverwalk as well as several shopping areas. The restaurants food and drink were quite pleasant and at a good price point.

The rooms are very small and this can get annoying when sharing with another person. It was extremely warm on the nights we stayed but there was no air conditioning. We opened the window to cool the room down but the seagulls outside were noisy

Had a two night stay in The Townhouse. It's in the city centre and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants of the city. It's not far from the Shannon which is lovely to stroll by. I had a cooked breakfast and it was very good. There was also cereal and pastries but no fruit or yogurt which I would usually have. The staff at breakfast time were friendly and attentive.

We expected the street noise at night but the seagull wake up call was annoying. Obviously not their fault, but an FYI for future stays.

Rooms were very hot and stuffy. Shower had low pressure. Our mattress had a pit in it. Very noisy indeed, the hotel warns you about the noise, but this was beyond my imagination. Our room was on the back and after the music stopped there was still a lot of commotion and noise in the parking lot.

I did decide to have breakfast in the hotel and felt like they had many more options for cooked breakfasts, with less choice for a continental breakfast like I wanted - but that was my issue for needing to leave early. I also found it slightly odd that as a single traveller I was put in a room with 3 single beds, but assume they must have run out of smaller rooms.

The check-in/check-out staff were helpful. I was able to get a one-night booking here, which some places don't allow. I found it easy to get to most of the things I wanted to see from this accommodation.
