Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThere was nothing not to like about this hotel. The staff were so nice and helpful and made us feel right at home. Had an evening meal, which was fresh full of taste and I can say we were stuffed, but as always there was space for desert and we got the chocolate lollypop which we have never seen on a menu before which great to see something that was not the norm and it was divine with just the right amount to share, loved it. Will stay here anytime.
Very clean hotel and room with mind-blowing water pressure in the shower, perfect to get you ready for the day ahead. Will stay here again as we have more exploring of Mayo yet to do.

IrelandWindows to room didn't close fully, on street noise heard but didn't disturb my sleep
Room big enough to hold a single and double bed but only had a double which left it quite roomy. Lovely cafe for breakfast. Bar food also available (but didn't try it). Free on street parking at your own risk.

This hotel needs an elevator. And it needs reserved parking across the street. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay for the Knock/Claremorris/Kiltimagh. The restaurant and bar, and breakfast room were excellent. The hotel is very close to O'Hora bar, where Irish musice is played on some evenings - good ambience.

United KingdomThe downside for me was the evening menu. It didn't cater for those with simple tastes and small appetites.
Breakfast was excellent, sufficient to see me through the day. Staff we polite, courteous, and extremely helpful.

IrelandThe Staff at Cill Aodain Court Hotel were all very pleasant and so helpful. I had an evening meal which was delicious and served promptly. I would certainly recommend and I will be returning as soon as I get the opportunity. The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated and had a nice balance of comfort and privacy.

IrelandEverything was good except that piped music was left on loudly in the bar - reception area until I realised it wasn't live & asked for it to be turned down at 1pm. When I went downstairs there was no one there except one staff member. Who didn't seem to realise how loud the music was & it sounded very loud upstairs as room was over the barm I had asked for a quiet room and waited as long as I could before checking out music. I was surprised it was Spotify or similar in an empty bar - reception area & could have been turned down much earlier. The staff member instantly acted on turning down the music & in fairness was professionall about it. I mentioned what had happened at check out but Recrption staff did not say anything much when I explained I had asked for a quiet room not really loud music coming through ceiling of an empty bar in fact no one at all was on ground floor just the staff member.
The food in particular was very enjoyable. The room was clean & comfortable. Staff were pleasant I would recommend staying there.

IrelandMaybe the breakfast, I've had better. Personally, I like the choice of a lttle bowl of muesli or corn flakes before the fry. Overall though, this was a great stay. All staff I came in contact with (3) were courteous, helpful, service was quick and efficient. I always top good service when I get it.
Breakfast was just ok. Rashers too tough, hard to cut actually. Sausage ok. Egg, pudding, beans, tomatoe, toast and tea all tasted good. Orange juice is always nice at breakfast. I had to ask for this and it was promptly provided.
