Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The gluten free menu wasn’t actually gluten free as food wasn’t cooked separately and I was very sick after a meal .
The property was very clean , great location and staff were all lovely and helpful .

Super warm, no air conditioning and even if you open the window it’s not enough to bring grease air to the room that feels super stuffy. The price per night could have been better for what it offers... The pressure on the shower wasn’t the best, but did the job.
The staff was really helpful and the hotel was a tradicional Irish old hotel building. It was close enough to town, and plenty of parking spaces and a nice pub/restaurant. Breakfast was fresh and with the usual options, you can order a full Irish to your table which is sometimes better than the buffet style.

Better coffee ☕️ for breakfast , musty smell in the second floor hall area from carpets, hotel bedroom furniture carpets etc outdated needs fresh ideas. Floors in bedrooms creaked quite a bit could hear next doors noise.
Greeting upon arrival extremely fast and friendly which is a great sign . Breakfast very nice , coffee was a bit weak , breakfast room setting great very spacious and staff outstanding 😀 Bar bistro staff and all hotel staff were excellent extremely helpful and friendly, bar bistro food amazing, their signature dessert we ate was baked alaska and it was fantastic. Lovely cosy home from home atmosphere in the bar . We enjoyed our stay thanks to all the staff 😀

I did request anything extra that would make the stay special for my boyfriend’s birthday but we were put in a family room. Shower also leaked out on to the floor.
Location was good and staff were friendly.

Tea/coffee facilities were strange, supplies in cups and no spoon but we weren't sure if the cups were for storage or use, no paperwork to explain.
Hotel was as expected, nice comfortable and clean.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for New Years and we loved it! All the staff are super friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was amazing, also ended up drinking in the bar which was great too. Lovely room and only 5 mins from town. Overall a great experience and great value for money

Room was small. Bedside table was straight inside the door restricting entering the room with luggage

The guest who goes out at night has no key to the front door and is dependant on the night porter for access. I have had, on more than one occasion, to wait outside in the rain until the night porter came to gain admission. Why, does the guest, not get a front door key?
The breakfast was excellent and same applies to the other meals. The staff were so friendly, so willing and curteous.I

"Do Not Disturb" signs for the rooms would be handy, to avoid being woken by the housekeepers - a sign in the room states there would be no house keeping during our stay, but that may be an old sign intended for during the pandemic.
We had a great stay here. Firstly, we were greeted by the kind staff, who were continuously a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. The room was huge, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the food was amazing. The parking outside was extremely handy. It was only a short drive into Killarney when we wanted to go in, but it was nice to get away from the busyness when we wanted to. Would definitely stay here again.

The sink in the bathroom was dirty and there was a hair band on the floor which it wasn't mind as I have short hair
