The serenity, bedroom view, great breakfast and that the residence was in a beautiful rural setting but no more than 5 minutes by car from centre of town.

While the continental breakfast was good and had variety, it was surprising not to have a hot breakfast of some sort, as the booking site as I remembered just said breakfast included. I would have liked an offer of something hot, maybe porridge and scrambled eggs or similar. I did ask for toast and it was very nice.

Good location, easy to find. Convenient parking. Bed was very comfortable, and lovely quality sheets. Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful china dishes. Peaceful and quiet with scenic views of the countryside.

The kettle in the room needs replacing

The house is located in close proximity to the city which can be reached even on foot. The room we stayed in was light and warm, very cozy and equipped with everything needed. The hosts go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable.

Mrs Cavanagh was a brilliant host. Went above and beyond for us. Dropped us into town both nights and was so friendly. Breakfast was lovely and we had a visit from beautiful Lola 🐶 Property was in a brilliant location, room was very spacious and facilities great. If in Mullingar again, would definitely stay there, brilliant. Thank you for making our stay all the better. Xx

Nothing bad to say

Our stay at Keyfield House was perfect. Our host Enda was so welcoming and happy to help us with anything we needed. She prepared us a continental breakfast on our first morning which was lovely (we were offered breakfast on other days too but had arrangements with friends elsewhere). There is a lounge area that guests can use but we were either out all day or just watched the TV in the room when in bed. The room was ideal for my partner and I for our 4 night stay, with plenty of towels, blankets, kettle with tea and coffee and some toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, etc.). We had our own keys so could come and go as we please and each night we returned we had a lovely chat with Enda (and the adorable Boxer Lola) about our day/plans. We felt so welcomed and if we return to Ireland we will definitely be in contact to stay in this beautiful house again!

Our host enda was so friendly and made our stay.. She informed us of local points of interest from near buy lakes, to accessing local taxis for a night out.

Amazing hotel , we were made to feel very welcome. Rooms outstanding, beautiful views. Very clean . Great location-within walking distance to local pubs and shops .Enda and Richard were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.

House is a little out side of town, but in a nice part of the country. there is not much to complain about. overall is was good, safe and friendly place. I would go back there again to stay there again

The breakfast was lovely with lots of choices and fresh fruit. House was lovely and big, we cycled there and they put our bikes in a shed for the night. My friend was not well after the cycle and they were good to them.

We couldn't get the hair dryer to work, but that was probably our fault. Nothing else was a problem.

We loved Enda's friendliness, she was a great host. The room was large, extremely comfortable and welcoming, the bed was very roomy and very comfortable and the walk-in, luxurious shower was a joy. The gardens were lovely, the whole house was beautiful and the continental breakfast was just right. All in all, a lovely. luxurious night on our travels. Thankyou, Enda.
