Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was not very clean especially the floor and the cups which were already dirty before we even got into the room. The sockets were not compatible with our devices and we had to buy an adaptor to charge our devices.
Nice location, comfortable bed, polite and helpful staff at reception.

Cons: rooms are quite outdated. It was clean but needs refurbishing. Bath was eh. Clean but you could see signs of wear and tear.
Pros: staff were amazing. Always helpful. Always polite. Breakfast was top notch and one of the best most extensive buffets I've ever experienced. Location is great too. Bus directly from the airport arrives down the road and the hotel is close to the main city centre. Rooms were decent sizes, including the bathroom. There was kettle and complimentary biscuits everyday. Complimentary bottle of water on the first day too.

Hotel was in a good location,not too far to travel to the ferryport, r00m was very spacious and beds very comfortable. Had an evening meal which was very tasty and reasonably priced.

The only thing which was a bit disappointing was that it is further out from the centre of Dublin than expected, and as it's up a hill it was a little tiring to walk to and from.

Curtains in room 513 don’t fit the window properly the light comes in from outside which disturbs your sleep.
Spotlessly clean , staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast very good.

stayed in a Clayton hotel recently and loved how we were able to check in there super early at no extra charge. the maldron being a sister company charges for the same service.
-location close to the shops -discounted car parking -very busy at breakfast time but they were well able to cope.

The TV in our room didn't work they sent someone up got it to work but we couldn't change the Channel

The restaurant food was inconsistent. It was great the first night, but awful the next evening. They forgot to take our order, one pizza was raw in the centre, the fish was over cooked and another pizza was burnt

Early Check in wasn’t possible and would cost you extra, if it was (we were able to leave our luggage tho). The Hall way always smelled „damp“ (the room didn’t). The Quality of the Room Service was mixed. One Day everything was done, two days it wasn’t or not properly, even tho the sign was up for hours outside the room door (dirty cups were left, new towels were needed…)
The Rooms are big and well equipped (Kettle, Iron..). The Beds were comfortable. The Location is good, only a 10min walk from the City Centre. The Lobby is nice and has plenty of seating areas. I liked that the Hotel has a „little shop“ where you can get small things to eat, nice coffee etc. in case you don’t want a big breakfast.

All good Check in and check out could be faster but on average
Room was good but not too big for three people- Location is acceptable but you have to walk a bit to reach the city center Breakfast is very variated but always the same.

Overall cleanliness.
An excellent location close to all kinds of attractions. We did not choose the breakfast option as 17 euros seemed a little pricey. Room was on the small side and is getting a little tired. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

The bathroom facilities were fine but a bit dated. Road noise could be heard through the windows as right by main road.
Decent location- easy to walk to most iconic tourist attractions (if you don’t mind a good walk) Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking facilities were handy.
