Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThere wasn't any window in my room to get some fresh air, There was a double door which was locked for safety I believe. The room needs new pillows/pillow covers. Everything else was great
Nice location and good facilities provided by the hosts. Some breakfast options were also there. There is a big fridge to keep your stuff.

IrelandNothing to dislike
Love the quiet and discreet location. Easy access to our keys and room. The kitchen, dining and sitting area are very spacious with a view to the massive lawn. 👌 The self service breakfast with varied options and tea/coffee... although we were not able to have tea and coffee due to our hectic schedule. And the place is a walk away from a petrol station, shop and fastfood chain. We surely will comeback here if we will return to Fermoy.

United KingdomThis is a shared house type accommodation. The walls and floors are not that soundproofed, so potentially, you may have issues if a light sleeper. The bed mattresses definitely need replacements.
The facilities are excellent, the host friendly, parking good and pretty secure (especially on motorcycle), the place is clean and tidy.

United KingdomA bit more sound proofing would make this place 10 stars. Someone somewhere was snoring loudly, it didn't bother us but was amusing we could hear it. Also if on the ground floor the you can hear the people above walking about.
One of my children wasn't well and we contacted them and they let us check in from 11.30am instead of 3pm which was absolutely marvellous of them. This place is a marvelous set up, lovely shared lounge area, amazingly well stocked kitchen and the breakfast items are all provided in generous amounts for you to make your own breakfast. You can help yourself to tea and coffee all day and it's perfect for a large group. Would 100% stay again

United KingdomThe location was ideal for us. So accessible - right on the edge of the Motorway. The facility was so roomy, comfortable, well-heated (my daughter loved the underfloor heating, the massive bean-settee for lounging on). All the food necessities were fresh and in plentiful supply, and the management were very friendly and helpful.

CanadaIt seemed like a common thing in Ireland, but all the beds had just a duvet and no flat-sheet. As someone who runs hot I only use a sheet. The keys were a bit cumbersome for locking and unlocking room and bathroom, but that's such a minor thing.
A nice house-turned-hotel, has a nice common area and huge kitchen stocked with cereal, bread, and even breakfast goods in the fridge! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean, my room was far bigger than I expected. Was excellent fora last-minute booking. It's right near the highway for easy access, and near Cashel and Cahir.
