Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI would have scored this a 10 if the air conditioning was not so noisy. It was so loud. Also the club room breakfast was always run out both mornings we went in there.

United KingdomWe were on the 9th floor and had windows which couldn’t be opened, which felt a little claustrophobic . Unfortunately the air conditioning was extremely loud and wouldn’t turned down.
We only had a dinner at the hotel restaurant which was really good. The location was further out than we realised and in a less salubrious part of the city!

United KingdomAir Con wasn’t great in the room, didn’t feel particularly cold. Bathrooms could do with updating but they were very clean so that didn’t really matter. Coffee machine rather than kettle in the room which could be used to make a tea but not ideal. More expensive rate for bank hols I think but that was the case for most hotels.
Isabel on reception, was so friendly and helpful on arrival. The hotel looks like it was previously a station so it has a quirky interior, beautifully decorated reception, bar and parlour. Staff were lovely and helpful. Ideal location for sightseeing in Dublin, really close to all the shops and opposite the Connolly train station and Luas. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet - we had a good nights sleep. Lots of choice at breakfast too. Spar and food options really close by.

AustraliaDue to location there was a bit of noise from the street - and some noise from returning revellers in adjacent rooms, but it did not spoil our stay.
Address Connolly has a good location a short walk to the main city centre area. We were delighted to be upgraded to a Junior suite, which made our stay! Upper floor, balcony with a view and lots of natural light flooding the room, sorry,…..suite!!😂 Lots of space to spread out and relax - a real bonus! The staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast offering was excellent!

United KingdomI booked the hotel for its spa as I love to use the sauna multiple times per week. However, the spa wasn't free for hotel guests - it was €25 or so per person, so I only got to use it once. The hotel is also in a weird part of town and while the hotel itself is nice, I wouldn't go back because of the location.
The hotel was modern with nice rooms. The beds were comfy and the vibe of the place was nice overall.

United StatesThe furniture is starting to look worn, the curtains in the room seemed soiled and tattered. The air conditioning is the loudest I've ever encountered.
I have a soft spot for this hotel, having stayed there several times when it was the North Star. The staff was always personable and this time was no exception. (A kind word turns away a harsh detail.) The location steps from Connelly Station is extremely convenient. And, being a train geek, I loved being able to view the DART and Irish rail from my room. In the morning, the coffee and brown soda bread were excellent.

CanadaOur room was 30 degrees and there was no air. Sadly it ruined our experience at the hotel.
It was a nice hotel, the staff was nice and tried to assist with our issue but It was horribly hot in our room and it made the experience unbearable.

IrelandThe room wasn't hoovered well. I'm very disappointed that the leisure center was closed on the day of my arrival, as well as the next day. I chose this hotel for its location, but primarily because of the spa. My birthday fell on the day of my arrival, and I wanted to treat myself. It's a shame no one had bothered to inform me about this in advance, at least by email. I probably would have chosen a different hotel. Many hotels offer free spa and pool access for guests, but at this hotel you have to pay extra. If it was a malfunction, that's understandable, but I should also have received a small discount for my next stay.
The hotel is very close to public transportation, which is definitely a plus. Shops, cafes, and pubs are nearby. Breakfast was good, but nothing special. I think for the price we paid, it should have been included in the room rate. I spent my birthday evening having dinner at North Restaurant. The staff were very friendly and made me a wonderful-looking birthday dessert.

Went to the restaurant my husband had to take his bottle of beer back to the bar as it was out of date , had sit down meal from the specials board which was nice. Reasonable price for the area.

United KingdomAt first we were put in rooms directly above the train tracks which were very noisy and outlook on to run down buildings with graffitied walls horrible! But the staff did sort us 3 new rooms the following day which were much better, also when your paying for executive rooms I think a fee to use the spa facilities is a bit much especially €25
The beds were very comfortable, rooms cleaned well, breakfast good and location also good.

IrelandCash was not acceptable on check in. Ridiculous. And the barman who was working on the night was possibly the most ignorant person and definitely not in the right line of work. The older barman however was very good even though he was under pressure
The room had air conditioning and the bed was super comfortable. Nice and clean

Slovenia- Poor sound insulation; noise from the street and nearby train station could always be heard. - The air conditioning was not functioning properly and was very noisy, and there was also a loud sound of water flowing. - Hotel guests had to pay extra for wellness / fitness centre. - Very limited selection of vegan food for breakfast.
- Great location, next to the train station and many bus stops. Also close to the city centre (within walking distance). - Kind staff. - Very clean.
