Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit dated and shabby, tea making facilities but no milk, no ironing facility. Holiday villas behind the hotel, so a bit noisy.

Probably could do with revamping the Bar / Restaurant area. Old / Tired Shower area in Bathroom too small

Bring your own toiletries as only one bottle in the shower of shampoo/shower gel that was impossible to get out. Had to use the soap at the sink as shampoo lol
Second time staying here. Lovely hotel, big spacious rooms. Great location. Would definitely recommend

Breakfast produce wasnt great, very loud extractor fan too close to the rooms. Hotel maintenance is lacking in parts.
Good bar food menu for lunch and dinner. Room was a good size with jacuzi bath which was a nice touch.

No issues
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good location near Morriscastle beach. Breakfast included which was nice! Not sure if we were given an upgrade but our room was really big with a balcony and a jacuzzi bath! Would definitely return

The only negatives i can say about our stay are: The curtains on the windows could do with an update and the bathroom floor was cold.
The room was really spacious and clean. The bathroom was really big. It was lovely to have a jacuzzi. The food was lovely. The service was fantastic. The staff were very pleasant.

The only thing I didn't like was that here was no live music. I felt if there was that the bar may have remained busier. In the bedroom I feel the mattress could be replaced as it wasn't the most comfortable.
Hotel is lovely very scenic in our room. Check in was very quick and informative. Dinner was a Rib Eye Steak done to perfection 🤤. Chloe made it exactly how I like it and I am very fussy about it. Chips were shaped out lovely and there was plenty and was satially satisfied. Richie and his lovely bar team were very attentive and checked on customers needs.

Stunning hotel room with great facilities etc. staff throughout couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The only thing that let it down was the food. The fish batter was burnt and chewy, I ordered the crème brulé for desert and not only was the portion TINY but it was scrambled eggs. Such a lovely setting etc that it was a shame the food didn't match everything else

Nothing. It was all good and the staff were helpful.
The facilities were good. we were upgraded and our room was a suite so very comfortable and spacious. The view was good across the countryside. Food was good and easy to get in the restaurant. The location was perfect. A 2-minute drive put us right on the beach with great walks north and south up the coast. This is a perfect spot for a beach holiday

Room was a little scruffy, but we were assured that a full renovation was in process. If this was done, it would be an amazing place to stay.

The carpet in bedroom was lumpy and dirty really brought the whole room down .

Everything was good, just would have liked some fresh fruit for breakfast.
