We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room and bathroom all very clean just a lot smaller than room and bathroom from previous year for the same money. Couldn't find a fan in bathroom so it was quite warm when showering. All very minor things would highly recommend hotel 😊
Room was very well furnished with great facilities. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast and dining excellent as was all staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Check out very quick and straight forward. Looking forward to our next stay.

Clifden Bike hire! Go to Mannion.
A lovely little town in the Mountains of Connemara. The hotel is great and the breakfast excellent. Lots of lively pubs a short walk into town and I would recommend Mannion bikes. Hire a bike and ride the Sky Loop. Lovely scenery and a relatively easy ride.

everything was perfect
Staff were great and authentic in their welcome and service . Dinner and breakfast were great and enjoyed a drink in the bar too . A pleasant surprise , we'll be back for sure .

Bar restaurant was very disappointing. I had fish and chips and it wasn't great. Very greasy. Another person in my company had chicken pasta parmesan and it was burnt. They had to send it back. Wouldn't recommend it. Expensive for poor quality food.
Staff were great, room was spacious and clean. Spa was lovely.

The rooms were clean but very small I booked a deluxe room and it wasn’t worth the extra money still only had a double bed

No air conditioning in room but there was a fan which sufficed.
Friendliness of staff, food was great..breakfast and dinner. Location was very convenient. Bar and dining rooms designed with character. Pool good also. Will stay again.

Check in was excellent - we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who made our check in very smooth and organised for someone to store our bikes safely and securely. Breakfast selection was very comprehensive and the service we received at breakfast in the morning and in the bar the night before was excellent too.

The location is excellent for exploring Connemara. Pristine beaches, (Lettergesh), heritage site (Dan O'Hara's) and an oyster farm nearby. Clifden is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants (offig an fish). The facilities in the hotel are fantastic (pool and cinema). The staff are super friendly. We booked an apartment which had everything you could want for an active family holiday (washing machine and dishwasher). We definitely would come back!
