Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandWe were there during a very rare heatwave in Ireland so the room got a little hot, but the Dyson fan helped :)
Location was fabulous. The room was perfect and had everything we needed. The kitchen was perfect for making a quick meal. Very clean and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful - especially Valentín. We were there for my mums birthday and the room had been set up with balloons, a card and a treat basket which was so kind!

NetherlandsEven though the outside temperature was around 18-20°, inside was a constant 25-26°, despite opening the window for the whole day. During the night it's very noisy, so opening the window is not an option, which resulted in very hot nights.
Very good location. Walking distance from everything you might want to go to in Dublin. The staff was very friendly. Very cozy, tidy, and well-decorated room. We haven't used it, but there is coffee and tea. Very nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed.

AustraliaWe loved our stay at Staycity. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much to ask. You get greeted at the door with a friendly smile every time. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped for doing some cooking. The location was perfect and walking distance to everything. We will book here again when we visit Dublin again.

United StatesMy husband could have used a softer pillow, other than that it was perfect.
We loved the location. The room was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was cool enough we didn't need air conditioning in August. They did provide a fan which we used. The bed was very comfortable. The room also had a little kitchenette, which was a nice addition. The staff were extremely helpful with info, taxi's, etc. We would definitely stay here again.

United StatesThe pillows were awful. It felt like we were sleeping on rocks. It was hard to sleep even though the bed itself was comfortable. Since there was no air conditioning, better fans would be helpful.
The room had a very small kitchenette which was appreciated. The shower in the bathroom was great. I appreciated the comfortable King bed. The apartment was very convenient to everything we wanted to do and see, but out of the way and quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly.

United StatesNo decent breakfast. Only one hand towel in the room, it looked washed but had some stains. I was able to get a replacement from the front desk.
This hotel has great location. We were able to walk everywhere. Temple Bar, Dublin Castle, Christ Church, St Peter's church, all are within walking distance. Only thing lacking is breakfast, they just have coffee and same pastries. Person at the desk did recommend a cafe just down the road, Rosie's and that was perfect for breakfast. Overall, a very good experience!

United StatesThere is no air conditioning in any room. The lobby is the only place that has A/C. Most every hotel/apartment in Ireland has no A/C.
It is walking distance to pretty much all of the landmarks and shopping centers. It was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area.

United StatesI always forget that Europe using body wash as shampoo. This is something as an American I need to remember.
What a wonderful hotel! The location was amazing and close to tourist spots, shops, transportation, etc. The room was lovely with great under the bed storage, the kitchen items, and a large bathroom. The registration process was easy. It was worth paying for the early check-in. The location was safe, which I appreciated. The front desk was kind and offered suggestions of places to visit.
