Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelI didn't like the price.
The kibbutz is very beautiful with the stream running through it. The cabins are cute and comfortable but it's expensive, no doubt. Even with a good breakfast and a nice cabin, paying almost 500 dollar a night is a lot.

IsraelCertain areas around the banks of the river were full of cigarette butts and debris. There were no bins on the pathways for the disposal of refuse.

IsraelNothing, all was really perfect.
The breakfast was amazing, a lot of cheese selection, pastries, fresh bread, a lot of veggies, really reccomnd. The room was spacious and usage of walls was very smart. Apparently the lodges are sound proof, because when we went out, we heard some loud music from one of the other lodges that we didn't even hear a hint of when we were inside! The hot tub was clean and the water was great. The living room was very comfy and although we didn't use the kitchen, the appliances and taking care of small details was apparent. Loved the complimentary booze, water and milk (didn't use the milk, but they had great coffee in the breakfast hall). Anyway, superbly reccomend to stay here when you're at the area.

IsraelShame that the restaurant isn't on the waterfront any more -it used to be a highlight for the children to feed the fish with leftover bread...
A wonderful location...great for challenged & wheelchair bound visitors. Easy for families to reach nearby attractions.

United StatesThere is room for a family of six, but on the booking site we were routed to book two cabins for a family of 5.
Beautiful cabins in a beautiful kibbutz. We were five and loved spending time in the room and exploring the area. There is room for six people without feeling squishy. Truly lovely.

IsraelNothing basically. It is very over priced over the weekends, which is why I chose to come in during the week. The jacuzzi in our room was not good, so in this case I think that if there is a jacuzzi, it should be good and work.
I loved the location of the kibbutz. I loved the stream that runs through it and all the surroundings. The cabins were comfortable and clean. The yards and the dining room were great. Breakfast was very good.

United StatesIt's too bad guests can no longer walk directly into Gan HaShelosha. The historic photos and information was great but more would be even better.
Breakfast couldn't have been better. Excellent. Nir David is one of the most beautiful places on earth. (I was an ulpanist and volunteer here in 1971, so the return was special for me.)

IsraelIt's somewhat on the expensive side for Bed and Breakfast but given beautiful settings, cleanliness, charming cabins, accommodating staff and general high prices of Israel its kind of understandable. Breakfast is very, good, for rest of meals best to come with food, as otherwise food options on the kibbutz are a little limited.
Family stayed there for a 3-Days/2-night vacation, with my 87 year old mom, who aptly called this place a little Shangri-La :-) Beautiful tranquil kibbutz settings along a picturesque stream and to the backdrop of the biblical Gilboa mountain range.

United StatesWould have loved to have something comfortable to sit on outside in the balcony. All there was is very hard, not comfortable wooden chairs. Also the air conditioning was good in the front of the lodge but not strong enough in the bedroom (central air conditioning)

IsraelWe came for the stream, but did not feel welcome to use it, even though we were paid guests. When we arrived, we were directed to the outside public beach, which was closed during the weekend. We found out that there is a private beach in the Kibutz and went there uninvited. Otherwise, the place was noisy with unconsiderate guests and no coffee machine. Due to Shabbat, the breakfast was poor considering the high price, and there was no personnel to advise with.
The beautiful stream and location.
