Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Housekeeping could be improved. Changing sheets more often, cleaning of surfaces and floors, etc.
Location was amazing - directly at one of the most beautiful Tel Aviv beaches.

Breakfast was delicious and location was perfect by by the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help, especially Saher and Kfir. The hotel is very well run.

Close to beaches and the Main Street for food and going out. Old city of Jaffa is within walking distance, approx 40 mins and is a good day / evening out to the explore

We ordered a taxi cab through reception, asking specifically for credit card payment. The cab arrived on time and took us to the airport, but there it turned out that card payment is not possible, since the driver had no card reader. We ended up paying an overcharged fee in Euro - luckily we had some banknotes on us.
Where do I start? The hotel staff bent backwards to make our stay more enjoyable. The communication prior to arrival - great and I got answers within minutes. They let us in early, and ensured we got all we needed. Also, staff asked for feedback during our stay, so if anything was not completely fine, they were willing to improve whatever necessary (no such need occured). Let me list me bullet points: - local breakfast served in a nearby restaurant (same building) with stunning sea view - free coffee in the lobby - impeccably clean - room equipped with a small fridge, hair dryer, safe deposit box (no extra charge), coffee machine, kettle, working A/C - water bottles replenished daily; free cold water and fruits in the reception - unbeatable location - beach, supermarkets and restaurants all within 5 min walk - several bus lines stop nearby - no balconies, but there is a terrace on reception level suitable for a cigarette or a beer

Breakfast options were poor, as well as the availability of the restaurant providing it (not part of the hotel itself). We tried to access the restaurant one evening only to be told it's closed, while the party inside kept going on.
Staff was always great. Cleanliness impeccable, location excellent.

The only down side is that it can be a bit noisy. Eg hotel room doors can only be slammed shut - not softly pulled close. That is not ideal when other guests go in or out at night.
The hotel is located in a top spot, across from the boulevard and in easy walking distance to restaurants and sights. The room was ligt, clean and the whole hotel is nicely decorated and modern. Good bed and shower, excellent breakfast buffet which you can enjoy at the outdoors terrace with sea view. Nice extra touches such as a free coffee station with some fresh fruit and pastry, daily bottle of water in the room etc. The staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome.

The only thing I can think of is the shower seals that need to be redone
Vlad at the reception was super nice and kind , it’s really hard to get a good service in Israel so this was really what I appreciated the most

The seaview could be even better if the windows were not that dirty.
