The hostel lacked vibe and the price was a bit too much for a shared dorm.

The room was neat and tidy. The owner was very sweet and kind in nature.

Everything was fantastic

The property is fantastic. Feels like a luxury hostel with river side facing pool and lots of other board/table games. Shoutout to the team as well Amit, for helping me across my stay!

My stay at Downtown Hostels could not have been better. Cannot believe I got so lucky and at such a great price! Aircon, fan, great location, beautiful nature and birdwatching on the backwaters, delicious food, most beautiful bathroom I’ve used in the places I’ve stayed in India so far, private balcony for workouts, pool, good wifi, and the staff! Every single member of staff was so lovely, so respectful, and so good at their jobs! Amit the manager went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and for that I’m so incredibly grateful :) Shree Hari yoga does great drop in classes just a four minute walk away - worth checking out. Definitely hope to return one day!

The in house food cafeteria does provide food to the guests on order, however the pricing is slightly high. Good food with reasonable pricing would be appreciated.

Downtown Hostel has a charming vibe for the first timers. Clean rooms & dormitories with 24/7 air conditioner. Fantastic location alongside the river.

For the most times it was clean in the bathrooms, but could have been nice with a thrash can or floormat before the shower.

The place is aesthetically nice and there is a nice cafe/restaurant, Pool and cool paintings. The staff were really nice and I met many nice people here.

The property is amazing with beautiful views near to sea . Right on the river . The pool is big and clean and looks amazing with greenery all around. However it was raining but staff made my day . Would love to be back soon here .
