An initial concern with a ground floor room.

Our arrival was welcoming and efficient. We had concerns about our initial room allocation which was swiftly rectified by the manager. We recommended requesting upper level floors. Staff were attentive and courteous. The heated pool was a benefit at this time of year. The pool area is pleasant with comfortable loungers, complimentary newspapers and magazines and a well equipped changing room. The gardens attract green parrots and the pool is a peaceful area. The breakfast room is small but adequate with some outside seating. The breakfast buffet and options were delicious and the chef was attentive. The outdoor seating area lacked ambience during the morning and for outdoor evening dining. Other hotels at this price point have lit burners and fire pits which were more welcoming. The bar is very small which is less attractive when there are noisy groups dominating the area and there are few other seating options other than the main lobby. The toilets have bidet facilities; the shower had good pressure and hot water. The pillows were sumptuous.

The gym could be better located and perhaps few more weight equipment. Currently is in a corner room, which you have to walk outside the main building, with 2 small windowns. It would be fantastic if it could be located in a space in the garden with a glass door, window view to the green area.

The outstanding service of all staff from the guard to the room service, waiters, chef, reception...Best in class. The environment, the garden , the building so classic and chick!

The property is literally amazing. Was upgraded to Lutyens suite which was simply Devine. The staff were super helpful and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and the chef came out and walked by every table offering to make anything they wanted. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Delhi.

Although the building is from the colonial times, looks amazing, very comfortable, food was excellent., staff were extremely helpful. Accomodated us for an early check-in. Definately stay there on our next visit.

We like the atmosphere of this colonial era hotel. Great that management has maintained and enhanced its heritage building. Our suite was well furnished and everything worked fine. The bathroom was splendid. The staff were always super polite and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful as we had both buffet and a la carte options. Dinner was great.

a beautiful old style hotel not far from Old Delhi centre. our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable i also enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool. The staff were gracious and helpful and made our stay a special one At breakfast time Suman introduced us to different kinds of Indian breakfast and made some good suggestions what we should eat. I especially liked looking at all the old photos from beginning of the 20th century which adorned the walls. There were also some old engravings from the 19th century. We also had a great meal in restaurant. The note is very close to Civil Lines Metro stop so we used that a few times

It is spacious, peaceful and welcoming. The food in the Indian restaurant was delicious and the staff were great. In particular, Vikram was a kind and attentive waiter and Pravesh made us delicious cocktails at the bar.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfortable and enjoyed the pool too. Food was excellent as well. Everything in the room was well considered and they even decorated the room and provided a cake as it was my husband’s 50th. Birthday celebration. Top class service and hospitality.

There were some issues that arose, sometimes with housekeeping or room service, but it was resolved quickly and professionally. In other words I don’t want to out any complaint because staff was great but there could be more attention to detail.

Beautiful hotel with character. Very good service. The luxury suite felt like an apartment. Highly recommend. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in India.

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of our trip, it was wonderful. Then we came back and stayed for another night at the end of our trip. We got upgraded to a suite, thank you. The room is beautiful and very comfortable. We had a great stay, everything was perfect. Staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

The location is good but you need a cab to go to tourist attractions, but this is quite common in India (not really possible to walk around).

The room was spacious and comfortable, clean and really great. The welcoming fruits were well appreciated, and all the personnel were very kind.
