It was an unexpected pit stop. A connecting flight from Hyderabad to Colombo was cancelled. And whilst we tried to find an alternative connecting flight, we knew our precious holiday time was ticking away. So we decided to stay at the Hyatt. After 5hrs negotiating flights at the airport, they were a welcome relief. The team sat us down whilst sorting out the paperwork, and brought us a complementary drink. It was just what we needed! They asked how long we were staying for, and as we were leaving at 4.30AM the next morning, they offered a morning call and a packed breakfast. Wow! However neither came the next morning. It was disappointing after a great start, but we appreciated the night's stay at the Hyatt!

I asked for a king bed were as they gave us twin beds that too separated. Pesticides were constantly being used while we were going in and out of the rooms that is breakfast times and the smell was awful! Hope that hey dont have like almost 4 to 5 people in the corridors working on the same kind of work and talking pretty loud. Too noisy trying to fix things most of our stay we were there. This is a luxury hotel, they need to figure out ways to get their pesticides done in a manner where the guests are not disturbed.

It is located in the hub of the city was easy to go around. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean.

What seemed like a luxury hotel a few years ago is losing its shine. We stayed at the same hotel for a week in 2015/16; it appears worn already, with discolored carpets in the rooms and hallway and stains on the shade for the shower window. The lobby area appears to be used as sleeping quarters overnight, as couches were occupied by sleeping men in the early morning hours, which is odd and uncomfortable for guests who wake early and need to sit and work outside of their room. Staff seem to be concentrated in certain areas, such as security, and waste time randomly scanning certain hotel guests' purses and shopping bags. Service at the restaurant during breakfast was disappointing, although the number of staff seemed to be sufficient. Staff was not present to wipe down gym equipment between uses, and guests did not seem to feel responsible for doing so.

Room has high quality fixtures and smart design. The large window provides great light and a view of the rooftops of Hyderabad.

The size of the rooms is not suitable for families and their maintenance as there are minor problems that we hope to solve soon.
