We've been coming to the property for years now, but the new staff asked if we're here for the first time. Every time we left the hotel for a drive, the gate keepers asked if we're checking in. You should note when a customer has come before. We called for tea sachets that took 40 min to arrive.

No locker in the room, being a holiday crunch - swimming pool overcrowded and renovation going on at the restaurant and the main entrance. many of the facilities were with a makeshift arrangement thus causing poor preparations leading to drop in the sublime standards of taj. Information vital should be provided prior to booking the stay. Staff have a great scope of improvement taking orders at the restaurant need to be customer sensitive and not be gender biased. extreme spices in food needs a bit of balance with freshness and toning down.

Since work was in progress avoid giving guests the rooms which are facing the renovation site and workers. This shows that the guests are not important and have to close their curtains all day.

The Breakfast and Dinner spreads were good. I could actually spend some time trying out almost everything in the spread and tasting them. For the room since there was no view as it was main entrance facing they should have avoided giving to the guest when work is in progress. The property is well maintained and the staff was helpful on the requests made. had a pleasant stay overall

The centrepiece sofa upholstery was likely shampooed but had visible stains and gave an unclean look. The water in the bathroom did not drain easily and was probably clogged. The varnish on the tables appeared to strip off the moment hot tea cups were placed and wish either napkins were available to prevent the varnish peel off from the heat of piping hot cups.

The location and the expanse of the property was exhilarating, large spacious room sizes allowed us to laze around, the food fare at the restaurant was great, extremely welcoming and smiling staff and the overall ambience felt great.

AirCon. It never reached the desired temperature all throughout our stay. There were lots of marriage parties at the same time of our stay, which made it noisy sometimes.

Food has become average quality over years. The gaming area is closed for renovation and this was not intimated at the time of booking. This limited things to do for kids.
