Pool was too small. we could not swim just walk around a bit. Due to the open bathroom, there where a lot of insects in the bathroom, especially during night time, otherwise it was a good concept

The lighting was a bit low

The property is amazing as it feels like living with the nature.. as we were travelling for work, most of our time was spent was just for sleeping and getting ready. The stay is for someone who likes PG Goa style stays in the nature

Room wasn't particularly clean. The towels could all use an extra wash. Additionally, given that the loo is outside of the room, giving an open to nature feel, we had a baby rat sleeping in the loo through our last night at the property. However, all of these are minor problems which the staff at the hotel seemed eager to fix. Over all, a basic and cute stay.

The hotel is cute and well located. The staff is exceedingly friendly and nice. Anil at the Reception was caring and very helpful. We got the double deluxe room with the balcony which was spacious and nice. Breakfast options were basic but varied. Parking is available at the property, which was a boon.

The place is massively understaffed. They don’t have enough people. They did not come and clean our room if not told. The place has major electricity issue. We had to move room’s because the ac was not working. The pool is much much smaller than in pictures.

It is very well situated and there is easy access to most places in Anjuna. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

It wasnt clean, the AC doesnt work and the property guy says that the maximum temperature we can provide, it was so hot until the evening that we couldnt stay inside the room. The drinking water in the flask has rusty smell, i am not sure when was it even filled and kept. The sheets werent clean too. I was even worried that bugs could fly inside. I was sick for a week by drinking the contaminated water. I would highly not recommend anyone to visit this place, it isnt worth it for the price.

The property definitely does look aesthetic as shown in the pictures.

This is not a pet friendly place. My poor baby was brutally attacked by their huge resident dog despite the caretaker assuring us the dog was friendly. Other stray dogs around the property and their other resident dog also joined in the attack. The property isn’t fenced so extremely unsafe as any random dog can jump in and attack your pets. The dogs inside the property are not collared or vaccinated. This made us stay cooped in our room for most parts as we were scared for our dogs. Also, the property demands a refundable deposit of Rs 1000 per day for your pets but what about the mental and financial losses we’ve incurred due to the attack? We rushed our pet to the vet and got her treated and the charges amounted to Rs 4000. That’s how severely she was attacked. Pls avoid this place if you’re travelling with pets.

Had an underwhelming stay at Hammock Goa. My friends and I stayed here for two nights. The pool is really small but we really wanted a cold dip. We saw a person painting the area around the pool. I asked the manager if we can use the pool and he said yes. While we walked into the pool area, our feet got wet with red paint because he didn’t warn us after confirming that it was okay to swim. Also they seemed to be doing renovations while we were there. There were painters right outside our room and again they didn’t inform us - this felt super invasive because all the door and window curtains are almost see-through. We didn’t want to get paint on ourselves so we just made sure not to touch the walls or get it on our clothes every time we walked out. We checked before sitting or standing anywhere to confirm if something was wet with paint. On the first night, the manager and an electrician came to our door thrice asking if they can fix a switch. We said that we were busy. It is best if a hotel does these things BEFORE accepting guests into the room. On the second day, we went to the breakfast area which is inside the Ruby Cafe and the service was super disappointing. The person at Ruby Cafe told me to enter the restaurant’s kitchen to call the cooks. I walked in and saw the man who also cleaned the pool, digging his nose even while I was asking him about breakfast. Seemed so unhygienic because he said he would be making our breakfast. Finally a didi came out to take our order and she made food that was edible and tasted good. Props to her for being helpful. On the second day, I asked for boiled eggs and another didi who was also sweeping the cafe, made my food, and gave me boiled eggs in a bowl - with the shell on. :) They expected the guests to remove this. This is not a huge thing, but while we’re at it, why don’t I also cut the onions and clean the counter?

There is no mineral bottled water but there are plates and bowls that you can use in the kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the linen smelt felt washed and clean. The staff are sweet and don’t mean any malice. The manager was kind enough to get us beer bottles from the store outside the hotel. But in general, the place is not run well. My only favourite thing about this place was the animals in it. Several cute dogs, cats and cows around which made it memorable.
