The only hiccup was that the porta crib was not in the room when we arrived close to midnight. We called the host # and the porta crib was dropped off and put together in about 10 minutes. Other than that the stay was great.

Location was terrific. Close to the commercial area and Rainbow Street yet still quiet. Having a grocery store around the corner was a plus. On-site parking was wonderful. Having a keypad (vs a key) made it easy for us to get in and out easily. Neighborhood is very walkable. Apartment had a big living room. Clean kitchen.

We were on the 4th floor & it was hard getting up with luggage. Not sure if I didn't read or it was spelled out that it had no elevator. Had to call several times to get back in the building because code didn't work.

Would like to have more info about the area and a map showing how to get to the very close shopping and restaurants. It was hard for our taxi driver to find and we called office. The woman we talked with was not helpful at all. It felt like she was yelling at us for being lost. So it was frustrating!

The key pad is complicated. At first we kept having to call to have them let us in. The server from the next door restaurant that also has to use the same key pad to access the building showed us the trick. So once we got the hang of it, it worked better. Trick is you have to use your palm to make sure all numbers light up and listen closely for the sound each time you press the code.

The apartment was in the basement and we had windows directly onto the sidewalk. However, this didn't really matter as we only spent one night there.

The apartment was in a good location and was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped.

We thought, from the description, that there was a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. However, it was a sofa...which was not conducive to an adult sleeping on it. Happily, there was a twin-size roll-away bed and linens provided.

We had a plane canceled at KEF, and there were NO hotel close to the airport, so we found this apartment, reserved it, and paid a LOT for a round trip bus to go from the airport to "close" to the apartment. We were happy to have a clean, convenienty located apartment for the 5 of us for an unexpected night in Reykjavik. The beds were comfortable, the apartment building had an elevator to get us and our luggage to the 3rd floor, and the Booking.com staff went WAY beyond "basic" to help us find the building, get the correct key code, and get into the building! We were also quite happy to have plenty of towels for all 5 of us to shower.

Easy to find. Host had a lot of videos explaining things, like how to turn the heat on, were the garbage goes, how to put the code in for the doors. The wifi was great too.

We booked an airport transfer in addendum to our accommodation booking using booking.com as well. The address used was for the erroneous address given in booking.com. Our driver dropped us off at that address and turns out there are more than one Reykjavik4you apartments in the area. We had to lug our luggages all the way many blocks along laugavelur st. When we arrived at 2am. This was VERY INCONVENIENT.

It was impossible to keep water inside the shower. Every time we used the shower, it leaked all over the floor either during the shower or when we opened the door. I also didn't expect there to be no elevator; if it said so in the booking, I missed it.

I loved the kitchenette, table, sitting area, and balcony. Location was fantastic.
