People who are extremely susceptible to street noise may want to stay in higher rooms or not street facing. I found the street life to be delightful.

the bathroom was tight - the bidet and toilet were hard to move around - and the shower needed to be waterproofed better so the water didnt spill all over the floor.

This isn’t a negative, more of a PSA. The Angel Rooftop bar is open to the public, so sometimes there is a long wait for the elevators once the restaurant opens at 5 PM. Be careful with that!

- Location, location, location! This hotel makes almost all of center Florence walkable, it is an ideal location to walk anywhere you’d like and that is above all else the best thing about the hotel. - All of the staff was very helpful and friendly, from check in all the way to check out, to include the front desk and waitresses that served breakfast. - It has free WiFi which was very reliable. - Strong air conditioning for the summer heat - Beautiful, eclectic rooms with exposed brick and the ability to completely close the windows to incoming light, which helped me sleep immensely. Huge shower as well! - This hotel actually has two locations right around the corner from each other, and each location has a restaurant. This comes in handy during long days of touring, and there is a discount for guests who are staying at the hotel. The dinner at Angel Rooftop was just okay, but the view and atmosphere were amazing. On the reverse, the food at Meze was A+, though expensive tapas, but not a rooftop so no views. - The breakfast at Angel Rooftop was amazing! Highly recommend. - Would definitely stay here again.

Internet was not working for a lot of my stay, which was a huge problem for me, but also a big problem for the staff. There are some really good coffee shops not far away to walk to for wifi though. Keep in mind this hotel is right in tourist central, so there is noise, and a bajillion people outside. I live in a city so i am very comfortable with noise at night, but if you aren't used to that it could be a problem.

Beautiful hotel that felt really upscale. The location is very central and perfect for finding your way around. The rooftop area where breakfast was held was amazing, and i thought breakfast was really good. Scrambled eggs are basically what i look for in hotel breakfast, and they had that, but they also had little croissant sandwiches, bacon, fruits, all kinds of things. Room was extremely large and comfortable, with a cool view to some of the architecture outside. The hallway to my room had a little alcove, with an old Italian black and white movie being projected onto the wall (no sound, just subtitles) and i thought that was super cool. Staff were super helpful when i asked questions, and also helped me get a 4am cab to the airport no problem, which i was very grateful for.

Everything was perfect, but I didn't love that sheets were used to cover the duvet instead of a duvet cover. With some tossing and turning during the night it became unwrapped and... well, yuck... Either way, I would stay there again. the location is perfect, and the terrace for Angel has spectacular views.

Breakfast area cramped and serving staff were not attentive. Chef couldn’t cook an omelette on day 2 and day 1 I had to collect from the hatch, although what I think was the manager at the time was very apologetic and compensated us by not charging. That wasn’t expected or asked for, so very appreciated.

Style was excellent. Room was modern but still retained character , AC worked during heat wave and on the. Whole staff were attentive

Noise.

The location was fabulous and the staff were very accommodating. The bathroom, although clean, was very small and difficult in which to maneuver. The room itself was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. One of the drawbacks to the prime location is the amount of noise outside at night. We stayed on the first floor above the restaurant and a small cafe, and there was a lot of noise until early morning.
