Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomParking is terrible and misquoted. On booking.com it states 5 euro per day - it is 10 euro per day! They say free parking outside hotel- it is horrendous, on steep hill, and very tight to the side of the road. The entertainment is honestly rubbish. A kids entertainment begins around 9.30 in the evening (we don't have kids but to me it seems late). After for adults, either nothing or some music played from a computer - and too often slow, old and boring. Even thst stops at 12pm. We went up to Hotel Olimpo one evening to be met by a terrible karaoke - really it was that bad. Apart from once in a week when they had a local Sicilian group - no live entertainment at all. The All inclusive isn't done well in the drinks side. During the day, the only place to get drinks is at the pool. The option inside, at the sitting area near reception which has both inside and outside areas is switched off for no reason.
Firstly, the hotel is well kept, clean and with friendly helpful staff. The location is excellent with beautiful views. The food is absolutely wonderful with a huge variety of local, Italian and international options at lunch and dinner - all delicious! They also give daily passes for free entry into a lido which is wellnsituatedbright on the beach with free beds and umbrella . Also an elevator down to the beach - really useful

3rd time here, still doesn’t disappoint at all. Very grateful to the staff for meeting my special requests, also we were suggested to check-in before the standard time. Location is perfect, close to Taormina & close to train station so the transfer to the airport was not painful. The hotel itself has all the needed facilities & great views over the coast as a bonus

RomaniaSame breakfast everyday. Public transport was awful. Too many unmonitored kids. The room did not have slippers; there was no iron in the hotel (not even paid service)
The staff was friendly. The fact that it was on a cliff made the weather to seem cooler, way cooler than at the sea level, which was great. Cool drinks, good lunch and dinner, nice eating area.

GuernseyFirst few days bar next to swimming pool and reception wasn't working, if you want a coffee or something to drink need to go to Olimp hotel bar, after get busier and start opening.. And my pillow wasn't very comfortable, but was my fault I didn't ask for the other. Breakfast was the same every day.
Very good location. Stunning views from the hotel. In general very very beautiful. Good hotel, clean rooms, good food. I would go back again and would recommend. Thanks.

FranceThere is no any bar or restaurant a la cart in hotel and the tables in restaurants are too close. Every day is mostly the same food. Hotel needs renovation, furniture is old.
All staff is very polite, friendly communication and helpful. Many thanks to mini club team, his leader Ciro is doing great job to provide every day program for kids and adults as well. Cleaning service on daily basis 👌 room was spacious with terrace sea view 😍

GermanyThe only downside was the additional €5 per person per night membership fee, which was not clearly mentioned during the booking process on Booking.com. The bathroom was a little bit old style
We had a great time at the hotel. It featured a swimming pool, a panoramic elevator, and evening programs on the rooftop terrace, including a DJ, live singing, and a dance floor for couples. The view from the terrace was beautiful, and the atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. Drinks were reasonably priced. Since we booked in June, we also got a very good deal on the room rate. Parking was available on the street in front of the hotel, and they also offered a private parking space for €5 per day.

SwedenThe coffee from the coffee machine at the breakfast was the only negative surprise - did not taste as Italian coffee at all (which usually is perfecto). Late we found out that there actually was a smaller coffee machine that made espresso :) Too bad the bar at the hotel Antares was closed, it is nice to be able to buy water, coffee or a beer when sunbathing at the pool. Or to have an aperitif or a soft drink before dinner. Heavy traffic noice from the motorway. It was ok when you closed the terrace door. We had a room at the 3rd floor.
The breakfast is ok. Very nice with freshly squeezed orange juice. Clean rooms. The beds are ok, if you like hard matresses ;) We hade a late flight back home and was able to use another room during the day for 50 euros which was very helpful. Close walk to the beach (very nice that the hotel has sunbeds at the guests proposal), and restaurants. We had dinner at a restaurant, Da Nino, at the beach with fantastic pasta and fish.

RomaniaNot very vegan/vegetarian friendly (the only vegetables available at breakfast were tomatoes and cucumbers)
Nice place, very close to Taormina (5-10 min by car). Clean rooms, great view. We found parking for 2 days at the entrance of the hotel. First night we didnt find the slippers and a second set of towels in the room but the stuff helped us at 9 pm.

United KingdomStaff welcome not as friendly as could be on reception. Poor communication and very old fashioned check in processes. No map or clear direction of facilities. No opening times for bar area. No pool bar open at the Antares. Hire for towels €20 deposit. Mini bar in room (2 bottles of water) charged on checkout - no instructions to charge. Breakfast atmosphere was low with staff only looking to close up at 10am when it was open until 10.30.
Excellent value. Pool area very clean. Cleanliness of rooms and areas great. Orange and croissants at breakfast very tasty. Close to train station and resort area. Excellent option to use the Olimpio - sister hotel.

PolandThe downside were breakfasts as we think that in 4 star hotel they could be more various. Also the staff at restaurant was not very polite. From 22 p.m. till midnight there was a disco show which was too loud. WI-FI in reception in our room was very poor.
The biggest advantage of the hotel is the view, the panorama on the sea and Taormina was absolutely amazing and visible from our room as well as from other places. The pool is also very nice although I think it could be closed a bit later as there were still some guests who would like to enjoy swimming after 18. The reception service was very nice and polite but not all the members spoke English well.

AlbaniaI couldn't stay in the room with the balcony open due to the extreme noise from the highway. The beach was far from the hotel (10 minutes walk in the sun through the alleys) and the beach was managed by an uneducated and arrogant local partner. They assigned you a sunbed wherever they wanted in the last rows. The rooms were very small and the walls were very thin. You could even hear normal conversations in the next room. The reception staff was very unhelpful and even made fun of the customer's requests. The front desk supervisor had instructed the employees to lie that they would try their best to help with your requests and complaints but in the end they would say that they could not help you and did not refer the complaints and requests to the superiors (Elena). Elena had not transmitted my requests at all, however this did not impress the supervisor and this proves that he was the one who instructed the employees to do such tricks by making fun of the customers. I asked for at least the last two days to spend in another room where there was less noise from the cars and the employee made fun of me that she would tried but made fun of me. With a lot of persistence, they barely extended my check-out by two hours, and even after I checked out, there were still free rooms available.
The view was excellent but the car noises from the highway were unsuported

GeorgiaDon’t repeat our mistake 😀 The hotel has an elevator to get to the hotel. We walked 700 meters in the heat. I liked the place, interior, pool, beach and breakfast. Also, you should add 5 euros per night to get access to the pool and beach for two hours with sun-beds and umbrella. We didn’t have our towels, but you can leave a deposit of 10 euros and they will provide it for you. You will get the money back after you check out.
