Best located in Milazzo, nice apartment well-tended with a pretty balcony - and the wonderful host Piero!! Thanks for the great tips and information- not to forget sweet Violetta 🫶☀️ Breakfast was freshly prepared and tasted just marvellous 👌 We really enjoyed our stay ❤️ Grazie e ci vediamo!

We really enjoyed this B&B. The breakfast was very nice. Piero was a great host. He recommended a specific tour to the Aeolian Islands that was wonderful. We weren't sure what to expect staying in Milazzo but were pleasantly surprised.

Perfect spot for an overnight stay between a visit to the Aeolian Islands and the airport. Lovely, clean, quiet room with a nice bathroom, and friendly host.

Piero is such a lovely host! My husband and I were only in Milazzo for one day but the location of Umberto was the perfect place for what we needed. Very walkable neighborhood, secure street parking, lots of shopping and restaurants in walking distance - so much to wander through. Our room was spotless and all of the furnishings were so beautiful. Definitely an old-world charm to everything. Piero made us a big breakfast the next day - much more than we expected! Coffee was perfect, too :)

Piero, the owner, is so accommodating! Really happy to help and recommend what to do in the area. The rooms are immaculately clean and the mattresses are very comfortable (we had twin beds). Thank you Piero! 🙏🏼

The room was big, bright and in a quiet street despite being right down town. 5 mins walk to the port and lots of food options. The host was helpful and even booked me a taxi upon arrival at the station! Thank you.

The B&B is great, the rooms are amazing, big and airy and the bathrooms are also large and well presented. The location is good, I couldn’t find a bad word to say about any of it. I am gluten free and the host sorted me out with a great breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We were caught in a very unseasonal weather event in May, and whilst traveling by train from Palermo (to catch a ferry to Lipari) had our evening ferry cancelled en route, so we had to stay in Milazzo on short notice for the night. We were so delighted to find a room for the night with Piero, who was a delightful and generous host. The location is an easy 10 min walk (w luggage) from the ferry wharf, and we would highly recommend the short walk to get a few streets away from the busy wharf area, and appreciate the views and ambiance of the old town area up towards the fort. Whilst we would not have otherwise stayed in Milazzo, we were so pleased we had the opportunity to do so. We sat on the Juliet balcony of our room overlooking the street and church, and enjoyed a lovely local wine from the wine shop opposite the B&B (recommended by our host) As goes with ferry cancellations, we were touch and go before services resumed the following afternoon, and Piero allowed us to leave our bags whilst we waited (or stay another night if necessary.) This understanding and kindness by our host was most appreciated when we were a bit stressed about the uncertainty of our forward bookings (and holiday) on the Aeolian Islands being cut short, and probably reflects why this property gets such great reviews!

The property was very well situated. It was close to shops, restaurants and the main ferry terminal for the Aeolian Islands. Pietro was a great host. He suggested restaurants, helped with our luggage and parking our car. He also served a great early breakfast as we had a ferry to catch.

Piero our host was a delight. Helpful and courteous and his dog Violeta was so sweet. The property was immaculately clean, our rooms were excellent especially the bathroom. The situation was perfect. 11+ out of 10.

Nothing we would have liked to bring the host and his beautiful dog home with us back to Canada.

The property was extremely well run, efficient, friendly it felt like home. The host is very helpful and puts a significant amount of effort into making sure you are comfortable.

The host, Piero, is very kind and attentive. The room and bathroom were recently renovated and the cleaning lady does a great job! Nice breakfast with fresh brioche, omelette etc, it is tailored to the guest's preferences. There's also a lovely dog, Violetta, as mascot.
