We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Bonsai! The location is perfect, and our room with a balcony and beautiful view was fantastic. The rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing and a real highlight of the hotel. We also loved the breakfast — especially the cream-filled croissants, the delicious desserts, and the best coffee ever! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Raffaela, who was always there with great advice and support. Her kindness made our visit even more enjoyable. We would happily come back and highly recommend Hotel Bonsai! 😊🏨✨

It was a smaller hotel situated well for good access to the town and beach yet in a very peaceful setting. It had a very personal feel. The staff were all excellent and worked hard to ensure they supported your stay and wider holiday experience.

The breakfast buffet could be a bit more diversified but otherwise it’s pretty good.

It’s a small and chic hotel with character, with a beautiful terrace and nice rooms, well located only few minutes away from the centre of San Teodoro which is a lovely village. It has a generous parking and very friendly staff.

Only issue was the flushing on our toilet. Often wouldn’t flush properly and took a few goes for it to drain. Would have been great if the room came with an iron too!

The hotel was lovely! Service was great and the location was super convenient. The area itself was quiet but could walk for 5 minutes to the main centre. Loved how it had onsite parking too

The swimming pool being below ground level is not the most comfortable in hot days, not allowing any breeze. While the rooms were good, they need some renovation to improve the soundproofing.

Breakfast was very good with good quality pastries and options provided. The location of the hotel was perfect, being at walkable distance from town centre and beach. The staff was the highlight of the hotel, always happy to help with a smile and very supportive for any queries.

The only thing I could criticise is the beds were quite hard and the pool with a sliding roof with only a small space to sunbathe other than getting a lift to the terrace that I or nobody else seemed to use. The hotel would be much better with a traditional pool surrounded by sun beds. In saying that I knew that when I booked and it was only four nights and we went to La Cinta beach which was a twenty minute walk and was really nice albeit very busy.

Really beautiful little family operated hotel, great location and very easy walking distance into dining areas and La Cinta beach. Plenty of free off street parking. Welcoming and friendly staff, and fresh high quality breakfast each morning!

Our bathroom had pretty small window so there was not much air in it and not much light. Shower cabin was quite small too. But all in all, it was clean and good value for money. As someone who is very very afraid of the dogs and because we have a small child, I didn't like that really big German shepherd was allowed to walk within and around hotel (on the hotel terrace) without beeing on dog leash.

Clean room and bathroom. Rooms are spacious enough, bed was comfortable. We liked the possibility of breakfast in a beautiful terrace. Breakfast was good.

Nothing to dislike.

Set in a quieter neighbourhood, Hotel Bonsai is not a frilly or luxurious hotel, it’s true to its description and we loved it. It had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and good value for money. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff were so friendly, polite and helpful (thank you Roberta and Pablo). The hotel really is only a 5 minute walk to the main shops and restaurants (our favourite was the fabulous fresh cooked food at “Flamingo”) and 15 minute walk to the stunning La Cinta beach. Would definitely return.
