It was a pleasant visit to Monica's apartment, located at the top of a hill next to the small town of Belvedere, which is also worth visiting. The room and bathroom were clean, and the swimming pool nearby had refreshing water, providing a nice escape from the heat. Towels were changed and rooms were cleaned upon request. Breakfast offered both Italian and European options, ensuring that everyone could find something they liked, and it was served outside (just watch out for the local wasps!). The owner, Monica, was very polite and communicative. She was genuinely interested in our daily activities, which made conversations enjoyable. She provided a lot of tips for sightseeing in the area, showing that she truly cared about her guests. The kitchen in the apartment was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals. Although the rooms did not have air conditioning, a mobile air conditioner was provided. With a little practice, it cooled the room effectively—just make sure to position the exhaust pipe correctly in the door. Warm greetings from Poland! We were very pleased with our stay Monica!

Just few beautiful historical houses on the hill top. Marvelous view all around. Nice swimming pool. Comfortable bed. Picturesque but tortuous and long road from Suvereto.

Winding steep road

I was upgraded to a magnificent apartment with nice views. The owner gave me directions to reach the apartment and told me not to park back the palazzo. I kept wandering about the palazzo. Eventually I realized Borgo al Cielo was the palazzo

i was really happy with everything about this b & b & hope to return would also recommend to all my family & friends is a little bit off the beaten track but only 10 minutes from the village of Suvereto just head for belvedere & you will arrive thanks for a great stay only wish i had booked longer.

Wow! This placed surprised us a lot! Our apartment was located on the 2nd floor of an old but very well-kept and cleab building from XVI century in a small, lovely village on the top of the mountain, where you can admire a spectacular view! The apartment is very clean and spaceous, located on the second floor of the building. The owner Monica is very nice and the contact with her is very easy. the entire facility is very well-kept. Definitely recommend! :)

Upon arrival it was not immediately clear to us where a reception or host was. Although a completely rural small village with just a few houses, there is no reserved parking space for a car (only means of transportation). There are two parking lots in the vicinity though, but in the heat during out stay in August 2023 we would have liked to park closer to the appartment.

The location on top of a hill with magnificent view was superb. Though a tiny village, there is a restaurant and a lively atmosphere. Very friendly host and staff, always willing to help out. We have enjoyed our two week stay very much!

The pool was a little smaller than expected( very clean though) The room was so hot and difficult to sleep in, but we did experience higher temperatures than normal during our stay.

Good size and clean rooms with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast was good with lots of choices to please all. Monica is a wonderful welcoming host. Really handy restaurant at the location with good food.

Just one slightly negative comment - one of the double beds in apartment 6 was uncomfortable with a large ‘dip’ in the middle.

The room was quite dated. No kettle and limited plug sockets so need to unplug the fridge to plug in the coffee machine. The breakfast tray would've been better with fresh local produce. Ok for a quick stop over. The pool was full of dead flies and the whole place seemed a little unkempt

The property was 2+ks from town, advertised as 1.5ks. We thought we could easily walk to the town centre but the 2ks was straight up on top of a mountain that had an extremely narrow road with a lot of hair pin bends. You definitely need a car to get there from Suvereto or to go anywhere as there is nothing in the tiny village at all.
