No meals or dining options after breakfast (except for charcuterie offerings with evening wine tasting), and although town restaurant is only 15min walk away, it would require footing a steep hill to return to hotel. Make sure you've accounted for meals if you plan to hunker down and not leave property. If you enjoy a cocktail, note that only wine is available.

What a hidden gem. High recommend and will absolutely be back. With only 7 rooms you feel like you have the place to yourself. So quiet and peaceful. Staff created a helpful, but private experience and their energy felt like family. Amazing 360 Tuscany hill views. Didn't want to leave the heated infinity pool with picturesque Tuscan views. Some boutique Tuscany hotels feel old and run down -- as an LA, Vegas, NYC, and London regular, this property met my standards and didn't feel like I was in someone's home. Perfect for a couple night escape from Rome.

Everything at Capannelle was fantastic. The location is superb for exploring and even though it’s a very steep hill (and getting back up is tough with a pram) it’s easy to get into the town on foot. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming with our 5 month old and made our stay amazing!

Capannelle was a 10/10 stay. The property is even more gorgeous in person and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely. It was the most peaceful and luxurious part of our trip. We traveled with our 6-month old and they were great with him! Very welcoming and had a high chair and pack-and-play ready to go. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend doing a lunch tasting during your stay- exclusive to guests!

First all, we really appreciate all the staff there, who helped us during our stay. We arrived super late, the night shift staff waited us until 1:30am, which is crazy late, but when we arrived, she still managed to show her professional service with smile. We are really sorry for the late arrival again. We liked the room, it’s clean and nice and very quiet, that’s very important to me. Staff also recommended us some nice restaurant that we can go in Siena town. Which we had on the first night and second night too. It was great experience with wine testing and a 4 course lunch too. Everyone was very friendly 🫶🏻.

The resort is perched on top of a hill overlooking Gaiole in Chianti, with amazing views. The room has the perfect amount of Tuscan charm and the overall facilities are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is an exceptional property.
