GermanyThe breakfast buffet was rather limited. We also were not that fond of our bed's extremely soft mattress. Furthermore, the WiFi connection sometimes was quite shaky. All of those shortcomings didn't prevent us from enjoying a wonderful stay.
The ultimate hotel for a beach vacation: There are 5 wonderful beaches in walking distance, three of them having sand without any pebble stones. Additionally, the pool was really nice (albeit with the water a bit cooler than ideal). The view from our room (side sea view) was superb. The staff were all extraordinarily friendly and helpful. With a rental car, which is heavily recommended, nearby restaurants, supermarkets and tourist attractions (such as several archeological sites) are easily reachable.

FinlandThere are no services apart from beaches within walking distance. The AC is a bit aggressive -- works very well, but blows directly to the bed, guaranteeing flu. Shortage of power plugs in the room. The washroom wast huge, but no place to put any of your stuff down. Such a common design flaw...
The location is exceptional. Right next to a beach, but crucially, 15 meters up, allowing fantastic views over the bay that attracts large yachts by the dozen. Nice pool area. We bought half board because it was virtually free, and it turned out to be a new 4-course menu every day, with very high quality plates (not buffet). Likely the best hotel dinners ever. The rooms are fine, beds comfy, good blinders, and free parking. Relaxed atmosphere. Would go back.

Close beach which was very nice and a great saltwater pool with not much use so we had it to ourselves mostly. Other beaches also nearby that were fun to check out.

United Kingdom- Bathroom not thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. - The provided toiletries looked half used the first day. Some of them were not renewed over the next days. - Not enough power outlets. Power outlets in the room were too small for some of our devices. Some bigger form factor outlets or adaptor would have been helpful. - There was too much light coming in the room after 6 am which made it uncomfortable to sleep/relax. Over the days the tiredness of not sleeping well accumulated and had a negative effect on the overall experience. - The hair dryer is old, wall mounted, with not enough power and not easy to hold. Could use an upgrade. - Even as residents of the hotel, we had to pay 30 EUR per day for two sunbeds and umbrella on the beach. We found this too much, especially given the high price of the room already. - Sellers on the beach are really harassing tourists to buy things. They would come and stand by you invading your privacy and are rude. They are a lot of them, which makes relaxing on thr beach kind of a challenge. - The worst part of our stay was our experience at the restaurant Pirata. This is a second small restaurant/mini market on the ground floor, and seems it belongs to the hotel but we are not sure. The staff there has been really rude, trying to sell you what they want, lot of times giving false information on the menu. The sandwich I ordered one day had cheese with mould on it. On a second sandwich I found a small plastic part in it. This restaurant is the only option in the area though and seems they do not care to improve. Our experience with this restaurant has been really unacceptable and left us with a bad taste regarding our stay.
The hotel is really beautiful, having a traditional element to it. The hotel has a very beautiful garden with a lot of green and flowers, a really relaxing environment, overlooking the sea. The pool is located in a great spot in the garden area, with natural shadow options around it. Overlooks the sea, really gorgeous. Nice restaurant with panoramic views made it a great start to the day. Very nice breakfast. Good options, fresh products. Excellent coffee. The staff of the hotel has been very kind and helpful, making our stay comfortable. We really appreciate a very late checkout due to our flight departing late in the day. They gave us very nice tips regarding the surrounding area and beaches, too, We had booked the half board (breakfast and dinner included) option. Even though it looked expensive from first glance, and were not sure if it would have been worth, it turned out to surpass our expectations. Dinner included appetiser, first and main dish and desert and allowed us to taste some great food we would probably not have chosen otherwise. The staff at the restaurant were kind and professional. The beach is 2 min from the hotel, gorgeous waters, lot of fish, excellent for snorkelling.

LithuaniaGreediness of the owner of hotel in order to get max financial benefits from quests. First, we booked the room with a mountain view as per booking.com. But we received for the first night like a jail cell small room (maybe 8 m2 instead of 18 m2 advertised on booking) facing the street. On the 2nd day they changed the room for better option. Secondly, in the booking.com it was mentioned, that Capriccioli hotel has private beach. What came to our mind - very good, we will enjoy this beach, as it is private, and should be a part of the service you get staying in that hotel. But no - the day after we booked, we received an informational email from hotel, that the beach service is 80,- Eur/ day. So why to trick the quests mentioning it is private then? And the price for that same beach is even less, if you go and book directly at that beach. Breakfast was vey poor - it was basically nothing to eat. No choice at the buffet, it is a shame really, that when you spend around 440,- Eur/night, you do not get basically anything. All you here - "you have to pay". But I just wanted a reasonable choice to have at least proper food for breakfast buffet. And last point which made me write this review - attitude we received. One day I got too much son, and remembered that they used to put in the bathroom body lotions (small samples). It was not there, and we asked for replacement. What we were told in return - that body lotions are supposed to be provided only for higher category rooms and the ones we had before in the room - they were given by mistake. Can you imagine? It costs cents! So, I would never advise anyone, who is into more service than only good location, to stay in that hotel. I fell I was treated like a cash machine (for no service provided). I do not think the price we paid reflects the value of service that we got. Shame on that lady owner for this attitude and her greediness, that is all I could say.
Location. It was good. The gentlemen who assist with luggages - they were the most welcome and friendly people from that hotel. And that is it from the good points.

United KingdomThe price is based on the location (Porto Cervo) but not on the quality of the structure. The hotel does need a revamp, sockets were old and not safe, the sunbed mattresses by the pool were old and stained with mould, the gym area was poor and sometimes the bathroom had a bit of bad small. The hairdryer was one of the white old ones, fixed on the wall, once hot difficult to handle without getting burnt. The food at the restaurant quite basic.
The place was small and quiet, had private beach and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Housekeeping very good.
